Endless entertainment when UK is playing poorly.

Can't believe the way the game is going right now, but we'll see if they can fight back. They need a big guy badly.

#3 Syracuse lost last night to #4 Pitt.

Of course right after I post that, Kentucky goes on a little run and has the lead down to 14; it was 18.

    Roll Tide.

    Welp down to 9 lol

    Now 6...

And some UK fans are starting to be heard with a "go big blue" chant

To a much lesser degree, of course, but being down south on the coast, this has shades of the 1994 Mardis Gras Miracle all over it.

UK trailed by 31 in the second half of that one, then left Baton Rouge with a win.

    Enes Kanter agrees.

Wow, what a terrible play by the Bama kid
  • wildcats20
    Damn, nice steal.

Delonte West look alike at the line.

And just as bad by Knight...he needs to keep that and drive.
  • reclegend22
    Well, that's settled.

What a win for Alabama, who has already lost to two Division II teams this season.
  • reclegend22
Haha there's still 2.5 seconds left for Kentucky.

One would think I would know better than to call the game ahead of time considering the team that's playing. :D

If by Division II, you mean St. Peter's and Iowa...then I agree. Otherwise, Bama isn't bad. Their losses aren't that bad.

    Seton Hall by 5
    Providence by 12
    Purdue by 18
    Oklahoma State by 8
    Arkansas by 5

    Now Auburn...they suck.
  • cbus4life
Yep, 'Bama is OK, Auburn is pretty much a D3 team.

Tough loss, but still nice to see the comeback.

Kanter immediately would have made them a top 10 team. Without him, just seems completely hit or miss.

I've already shared my thoughts on Iowa by comparing their team to a lamppost in the OSU thread. And the St. Peter Peacocks are not even relevant.

But yes, I was being sarcastic. Auburn is certainly worse, though. There's no denying that. In addition to Wake Forest and Iowa, they are hands down the worst major name team in the game.

The SEC on the road, though, is a tough business. Just like it is in any conference.

Maybe the need a coach who has some class as well. Calling his freshman star a "selfish motherfucker" on national TV isn't going to go over well with any player. You never embarress a player like that in front of people. Can get away with that in practice maybe. Real class there.

Winning road games in the SEC is dang near impossible. I feel bad for some of the schools who play in the conference. Ole Miss finds some of the worst officials I have ever seen. No wonder Andy Kennedy was constantly fighting with them. The calls in the Vandy Tennessee game down the stretch were stupefying. The no call fall and subsequent travel with a minute or so left made me wonder if there were any stripes on the floor.
