BCS National Championship Game: Auburn vs. Oregon

Figured we might as well get a thread started... from what I can see on ESPN it looks and sounds like there's great energy in the building

Those yellow shoes are really loud...

I'm rooting for Oregon, but I could easily see Auburn winning with their Dline and will to win.

I see a "low" scoring game, with the 1st quarter being sloppy and all defense. The 2nd will open up probably.

Oh, and I hate Saban and Meyer on the set of Gameday. Could they get more SEC love?

    Indeed a bit of overkill.

This is one of the first years I really don't care who wins or if I'll even watch. Not a fan of either team, don't really hate either team. Kind of a yawner for me.

ESPN and SEC have a huge contract.

Did you really think they'd bring anybody else on board for this one?

Sidenote, my good buddy was in Cancun for a few days on his anniversary. He was supposed to be back tonight for the game. But, due to the snow, his transferred got delayed four hours, so he will probably miss most if not all of the game. Pretty funny, but the dude was in Cancun for a few days so he gets no sympathy from me.

Like he was supposed to attend the game? Or he just isn't gonna be able to watch the game?

God I love college football, and since my Buckeyes were victorious, it makes watching this all the better---no regrets, baby!!!!

No, he was just going to watch. But, he is still in Mexico, and his air port does not have the game, nor will the plane have tv's.
So, he will just miss most of the game.

So many reasons to pull for Oregon here.

Man, does Auburn have the crowd edge. That is like 65-35.
  • ytownfootball
I thought they said earlier there were some fans that weren't going to make it due to weather/travel issues.
  • ptown_trojans_1
Refs are Big Ten, I can see it now if Auburn loses......
