Cuse - KSU, officials ruin a possible awesome finish

The rule was only broken because it was the ref's subjective opinion (and based on his purported comments is a grade A egomaniac). The player wasn't offsides. Thep player didn't move before the snap. It was a judgment call that the supermajority of people wouldn't call, and even those that would likely wouldn't call it in that situation. IMO the rule WAS NOT broken, and even if it was I wouldn't make the call in that situation.

For Christ's sake, after every TD players leave the bench and go onto the field (sideline infraction). Refs don't call it.

They called it on Jake Locker last year in a similiar situation.

I call bs on that one. I guess you don't remember when Georgia players went on the field against Florida after a TD and several flags flew.

Specifying single exceptions doesn't negate the points made.

Yeah, because they were in the GD endzone! How could you not call it? That has nothing to do with my point that players leave the sideline after virtually every TD. Just a slight bit of difference, much?

Either you are playing devil's advocate or just being obtuse, but you're the only one halfway defending the idiot ref. No one else is, here or the talking heads on TV.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd take the opinion of Dave Perry and Randy Edsall over message board persons or idiot TV talking heads.

Yeah, its not as if those guys have a stake in the argument LOL. What's Edsall supposed to say, and a BE team got the win to boot. Love em or hate em, Holtz, May, Edwards, Smith, etc. have all said the same thing. Shitty call, and again if the ref made the comment reported, he should be suspended.

    Heckuva job Brownie!

WHERE IS THE PENALTY ON THE FLORIDA PLAYER!?
  • Skyhook79
    Holtz, May,
I am now convinced that I am right when you start using those 2 as your guide. Game over.

Actually I started with "love em or hate em", but convince yourself away. Congrats. You are right. The 99% of football fans that think the call was stupid are idiots.

99% of football fans feel the same way about Holtz/May.

One of those idiot talking heads has accomplished far more in the game that the gentlemen you cite.

    Who?

I have my disagreements with Holtz, often. But he did win a national championship and arguably had the best program of the late 80's/early 90's (I suppose one could argue Miami).
