as difficult as it would be to prep a QB that hasn't played meaningful snaps all year, I say keep the game plan simple and tell him when you're not sure and stuff breaks down to go be an athlete. Who knows maybe the rest of the club will band together and say we're going to try and win in spite of these jerkwads and maybe Guiton has a game to remember

Tressel has some decision making to do over the holiday. Suspend the guys or not? I would ask the senior captains what they think if I was him.

The longer I sit here and watch ESPN the madder I get. Terrelle, Posey and Adams have all been huge disapointments considering their pre-signing hype. Maybe losing Boom is the biggest loss of all.

IMO and I may take some backlash for this but I would NOT suspend them for the bowl game. The punishment has been issued, and it sounds like the NCAA was involved so it should be case closed for now at least! What is the worse that happens, we forfiet a bowl win? Who cares!! If it's not the national title does it really matter. I say if they saw fit to allow them to play or not be suspended for the bowl, so be it!

If it wasn't for the Newton situation I wouldn't be so up in arms about the harsh punishment delved out here! I know some will say it's two totally different things, however I solely believe pimping your kid is much worse than anything that took place here that we know of!!

I think Berry takes on an enlarged role. I hope that Tress lets all of these guys have it and tells them that their lockers in the WHAC better be cleaned out when everyone shows up for practice on Sunday

I think it would be a bigger punishment to suspend them 5 games total starting the bowl game. It wont be a punishment to these guys if they go to the NFL. So hit em while they are still students. Anyone else agree?

Have you been watching the games? haha The offense is already incredibly simple and dumbed down for TP. We hand the ball to our backs 2 times and then we give TP 1 of 2 options to throw to. If that isn't open he usually scoots for 5-10 yds. That's the offense.

OSU is in a lose-lose situation regarding the bowl game. The everyone plays and they win, the victory is going to be spoiled by whether or not those guy should have been playing to begin with and so starts next season's circus. If they lose, then obviously they're still the whipping boy of the SEC.
Personally, I would just bench the guys and put in the back-ups. Maybe they pull of an (what would be) upset and the fans have a lot to look forward to next season.

Krenzel on the Fan now. He admitted that he had no trouble getting by with his monthly stipend when he was in school. And he's basically saying there is no reason these players couldn't have known what they were doing with all the compliance meetings and resources they have. He describes it as being common sense, which obviously Pryor and company lack a whole lot of.

    "...everybody murders people" -Terrelle Pryor

What I meant was don't rely on him to have to make decisions he's not prepared to make

IMO, if we lose, at least it'll be with a certain amount of integrity...I can't say winning will conjure up a whole lot of love from Buckeye Nation.

No, because it is all stupid to begin with. While it's trashy as hell to sell trophies you worked hard to earn, it is just as bad to punish someone for selling their own possessions

Agreed but stupid rules are still rules and the players still broke them.

Sack the Sugar Bowl. Don't give the organizers or the NCAA any satisfaction. Play the kids that play by the rules and leave these dirt bags in Columbus to get more fuckin tatoos on their asses.

WTF do Black guys get tattoos anyway?

So why would that mean that I should think the punishment should be more?

Nobody is gonna let em do that and turn down the $17 million pay day that the league gets
