karen lotzIs someone looking for a reason to get sent to the basement?
-
karen lotzKelly said today in his press conference that Ian Williams and Theo Riddick both look good and will be back to their starting positions for the game. There was a scrimmage for the younger guys again today and tomorrow it will be a 1s vs 1s full contact scrimmage and then they will start putting in the game plan.

It's not trolling if it's the truth. Also, I really hate both teams. -

If you hate both teams then you should have ZERO interest in posting on this thread. Troll! -
karen lotzI think the teams are getting to know each other on the first night in El Paso. A couple ND players have been tweeting about Miami players talking shit and wanting war, among other things...

"Yall could be kings but ya'll chose acamademics!" -quote from a Miami player. And yes, that's how he pronounced "academics." Hahahaha. -
athlete37Think the acamademics might have been a joke. Hope so at least..

I don't think so. 5 or 6 of the players are saying things that make it seem as if there was some kind of incident tonight.athlete37;614287 wrote:Think the acamademics might have been a joke. Hope so at least.. -
athlete37Doubtful. Kelly doesn't let the players out very much when they are in South Bend, let alone in El Paso. Ragone about cried when they made a "no-fever" policy lol
-
karen lotzThey did go out tonight as a team.
Off to our first activity as a team in El Paso.. Then we're off to see what this city has to offer!Well that was interesting...Apparently they don't undastand. Iss no preshuhThings are already intense here in El Paso and its only day one.Straight wild'n up in el paso.. #lehhhhgoooooThings are getting heated. Day 1... let's goo.Everyone is chomping at he bit to play the game. YOU SAY YOU WANT WAR LET'S GO LET'S GO.I refuse to be disrespected. -

-
rock_knutneYou knew it was a matter of time before Miami started talking shit.
-
Tobias FünkeDid they show up in fatigues?
-
rock_knutne^^^^Hahaha, I remember when they did that for their bowl game against Penn State years ago (which was for the NC) and it back fired on them.

Miami, ND barred from crossing border
Associated Press
EL PASO, Texas -- Players from Notre Dame and Miami will not be allowed to cross the border into one of Mexico's most dangerous cities during their free time before the Hyundai Sun Bowl.
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly took his team's passports before the Fighting Irish flew to El Paso as a precaution. The Hurricanes didn't bring passports, either, and met with both local law enforcement and the FBI on Sunday shortly after arriving in Texas to further underscore the potential dangers of crossing the border.
Fans from both schools have also been urged to be cautious. El Paso borders the Mexican city of Cuidad Juarez, which is wrapped in a drug war. Officials say more than 3,000 people have been killed there this year alone, and the vast majority of crimes in the city are never investigated.
The Sun Bowl is Friday. -

rock_knutne^^^^^That's it! Testaverde had a terrible game and Penn State beat them up. If my memory is right, I think they showed up to a bowl game banquet/function with those fatigues on and started talking more shit and then walked out on the function.
-
vball10set^^^LOL--good memory, Rock--it was the '87 Fiesta Bowl I do believe
-
Tobias FünkeYeah Miami was light years better than Penn State and literally handed them the game by being a bunch of jackwagons. Miami was scarily close to winning titles in '86, '87, '88, '89, '91, and '92. Probably the greatest run in college football history by one program. Southern Cal was in the neighborhood recently, but nothing like that Miami program.
-
rock_knutne^^^^I hated those Miami teams with a passion especially Jimmy "Pig Face" Johnson! Bunch of low life thugs.
