Serious question: How is Wisconsin ahead of Michigan State? Don't get me wrong, Wisky has been darn good as of late and they look to be for real. But how come nobody mentions that Sparty beat them head to head earlier this season?

Because Iowa took Michigan st and rubbed their faces in the dirt.

Stanford may be the 3rd best team I'm the country. What's the word on Dalton's elbow?

I guess that is what people are going by, but man, you'd think head to head would come into play...

I think it's because Sparty was embarassed by Iowa (a team Wisky beat) and also because MSU has had a lot of close calls with mediocore teams and Wisky has blown everyone out (including dominating 11-1 Ohio State). I think the pollsters have forgiven Wisky for having one off game to a pretty decent team.

No. They lost by 30. Media won't brainwash me. Wisconsin and OSU stays above them.

Michigan st. being that high on your list. lol.. did you watch the Iowa game? "The Embarrassment" you don't get embarrassed like that, need a fake field goal to be notre dame, need a miraculous comeback to beat Purdue, and still be ahead of all the 1 loss teams. WOW>

Why aren't they chalking up the Iowa game as an "off" game haha? I am mostly playing devil's advocate, and I realize Wisky will be ranked higher. Just thought it was weird that is all but been forgotten that Michigan State had defeated Wisky previously

SO you chalk up Michigan St's miraculous wins over crap teams and an embarrassment loss to a quality team. Sounds like 99% of the people clearly see that the win over Wisconsin is the one we should be "chalking" up as an "off" game for Wisky.

Probably because it wasn't only an off game, their pants fell off. Also, Iowa ended up being pretty shitty.

Iowa just lost to Minnesota, not sure how qulaity they are. 7-5? Mediocore at best.

Iowa may have ended up playing shitty, but they didn't until after the OSU loss. They played OSU tough, and have the talent to be a top 15 team. However, they quit on this season or definitely played down to their comp when playing teams like Indiana.

Iowa is a weird team.. the talent is there but where was the heart?

Close games and comebacks happen. Off games happen too. Everybody except 3 teams has had an off day so far this season. Like I said, I realize Wisconsin will be the higher ranked school, and I really have no issue with that (I couldn't care less either way). I was just saying that they had played head to head and Michigan State was deemed to be the better team.
