Coaches aren't allowed to have contact, just give them tickets. I hope the atmosphere is beyond special. Williams, Huggins, and Shuler will be there. Those would be HUGE pickups.
According to the interwebz, Christian French was going to commit to Iowa, but then Brian Kelly came to town and he is now rethinking everything. Notre Dame is in good position.
Williams, Huggins, Shuler (doubtful but friends with Huggins), French, and Golson/Brissett would be a great way to finish this class. Add in that sleeper recruit from Texas, McDaniel, and Notre Dame would be in fine shape. I would like to see a monster DB, specifically a CB, but oh well. -
sjmvsfscs08Not a shocker here, ESPN has Army winning.
UPSET SPECIAL: Army 28, Notre Dame 20. Sorry, I am not on the Irish bus despite the win over Utah. The Utes were totally deflated going into that game and imploded. I still have visions of Navy dancing for 367 rushing yards against the Irish in my head. While the Black Knights aren’t as proficient as the Midshipmen in the triple option yet, they are much improved will give them fits. No doubt Notre Dame will make adjustments, but I still think Army will be able to run. -
karen lotzAre you sure about coaches not being able to talk to recruits? The game is considered a home game being played on a neutral field. Kelly wasn't sure on whether he'd be able to talk to recruits last week and was going to look into it.

Its uncanny how accurate they are with the Upset Special each week ya know?sjmvsfscs08;564457 wrote:Not a shocker here, ESPN has Army winning. -
karen lotzI wouldn't put to much stock into that pick. It was made by Andrea Adelson.
No. 14 Utah 35, at Notre Dame 20. The Utes have to bounce back and fast to put the embarrassment of last weekend behind them. This certainly will be a big test for coach Kyle Whittingham to get his team to stay focused for the remainder of the season. The Irish have a handful of starters out because of injuries. Bank on Jordan Wynn putting the mistakes of last week behind him to have a big game. -

Last year Weis couldn't talk to recruits in San Antonio, I'm 99% sure.
I put about as much stock into ESPN's predictions as I would Sideshow Bob's. I do however agree that Utah handed the game to Notre Dame. Notre Dame dominated the LOS though, which is great to see. -

SEVENTY RECRUITS?! Sweet Jesus. When all is said and done, at least seventy 2011 and 2012 prospects will be in attendance. 2011 Irish commitment Connor Hanratty will certainly be there, but so will key 2011 targets Ishaq Williams and Savon Huggins. Both players are also bringing a number of top prospects from their current team, who will also watch Notre Dame on Saturday.
Kelly and recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin saw Saturday’s game as a great opportunity and invited many elite prospects and a number plan to show up on Saturday. The idea was to schedule games in talent-rich areas, and the New York area certainly has plenty of talent. Kelly and Martin plan to take full advantage of the unique opportunity a game such as this provides.
The Notre Dame coaching staff isn't allowed to speak with these top targets on Saturday, but the opportunity to showcase the Irish program in front of such a large audience of top prospects who might not ever get the chance to see Notre Dame play in person otherwsie was too great an opportunity for Notre Dame to pass up. -

I'll have to go back and find them again. Usually the links to things like twitpic are only temporary but I'll see what I can do. -
