Week 12: (6) Wisconsin def. Michigan, 48-28

Hb31187Why? Defense isnt stopping ANYONE, gotta try to get it within 1 score
damn near worked, 1 badger in the middle of like 8 wolverines got that kick -
Hb31187See lol, 3rd and long and they convert a stretch play? kinda comical/pathetic
-
LJThis is why the 3-3-5 will never work in the B10

Because, they are only down 10, not 40, in the 3rd quarter. IF they get a stop, why not have a chance at good field position? If were weren't coming back from 24-0 no one would have been calling for the onside with that point spread and that point in the game. -

You mean it won't work period? Why do people act like the Big 10 teams run some special offenses that no one else in the country run? -
Ty WebbI went to McDonalds this morning and got their football magizine and they predicted the same score for this game that I did
Just kinda funny -

3-3-5 will work against exactly what Rich Rod runs. It puts speed on the field. It won't work against power offenses. The 3-3-5 actually worked quite well RR's last 2 years in the BE, but they were playing mainly spread offense type teams. -
WebFireWow.
-
LJthat JJ Watt is the real deal

But when they run something different they still suck. And the 3-3-5 can stop the run if it is run properly and has good players. -
LJ
That is trueWebFire;567127 wrote:But when they run something different they still suck.
Not really, his teams have always sucked against power running teamsAnd the 3-3-5 can stop the run if it is run properly and has good players. -

What's even scarier is he sounds like a genius on TV compared to his radio show.Hb31187;567078 wrote:Chris Speilman spews out some of the dumbest shit lol -
LJand Chris Spielman agrees with me

When he's on, he's really on. When he is off... he is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off. -

True. Main difference between him on TV and radio is he actually thinks before talking on TV. He generally is pretty decent during games. -

I think the biggest problem on the radio is he gets really preachy and interjects his own morals into discussions about teams and players WAY too much, -

Exactly, HIS teams have sucked running it. I'm not disagreeing that they should run something different, but I think too much emphasis is put into what base defense they run. That is just a small part of the problem. -
darbypitcher22wow... Michigan's defense is turrrrible across the board
-
Ty WebbWhen Wisconsin puts this drive into the endzone, they will have punched their ticket to Pasadena

You have no idea what you are talking about. The 3-3-5 is specifically built to counter spread offenses. Read up on it a bit. -

Eat shit. I know what the 3-3-5 is. My point being THE BASE DEFENSE IS A SMALL PART OF THE PROBLEM. WHEN THEY RUN SOMETHING ELSE THEY STILL SUCK.
Get it yet? -
Hb31187Denard is a hell of a dual threat QB. Too bad this defense is middle school level
-
Trueblue23So many missed chances in this game.
The onside kicks, the overthrown WR on the 1st possession..
We're getting waxed but I'm proud Michigan not giving up. -

So you are telling me that a team that is short on DB's that is running a defense that is dependent on on having exceptional DB's wouldn't be any better running some type of traditional defense? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. -

Don't worry, we'll switch to the 4-3 and beat OSU next week. Right LJ?
