Going unbeaten isn't hard when you play Boise State's schedule. I know Ohio State would be undefeated if they played Virginia Tech, Oregon State, and 10 mid majors.

You don't know that. OSU could have easily lost to VT here in DC at the start of the year.
Going unbeaten is the hardest thing to do, which is why only a few (3-4 at the most) schools accomplish it every year. Doing that, is more than OSU can say. Besides, what is OSU's biggest victory? Miami? I'd say VT is more impressive. And the rest of OSU's schedule has been a joke this year.

If a team losses to a 1-AA team, you can not consider it a good win. It doesn't matter what that team does the rest of the year. They lost to a 1-AA team.

Not saying that the Miami win is all that great anymore.

The argument isn't really about going undefeated as much as it is about depth/quality of opponents players faced. You can't really compare the MWC/WAC to any of the AQ's. That's just my thought, but I realize you don't agree.

Ohio State doesn't deserve to be in a BCS bowl game over Stanford or Boise State. Ohio State hasn't beat one good team all season. Boise State has a win over probably ACC Champ Virginia Tech.

Ohio State is what's at the end of every rainbow, a pot-o-gold.

    Too fucking bad for you.

If Ohio State wins out, they will be in a BCS bowl for one reason (and Yes, I'm a Buckeyes fan) it will be, because of the amount of money Ohio State can generate.

I still think Ohio State is the best team in the country. With that said, if both Oregon and Auburn lose, Ohio State should make the title game, and if I were the other team, I probably wouldn't even bother showing up.

Its not a matter of who's deserving, at that point its who's fan base is going to travel the best and bring in the most $$$ to the economy during the time of the game.... therefore...

    OSU > Boise

Actually, there's been much speculation that Boise will be left out.

If OSU, Wisc, and MSU all win out, head to head doesn't apply since they didn't all play each other. The second tiebreaker is overall record (they would all be the same). The third tiebreaker would be BCS rankings.

For those of you who need help understanding the difference between the WAC and big boy football.

    Nonconference Records

    vs. FBS AQ Conferences
    Big Ten 7-5, .583
    WAC 4-9, .308

    vs. FBS Non AQ Conferences
    Big Ten 19-2, .905
    WAC 9-8, .529

If you want to size up the quality of Boise's conference competition, you can take out their wins from the above records and see the rest of the conference has gone 2-9 this season against AQ teams, and 7-8 against the other non AQ FBS conferences.

No they wouldnt. Undefeated team who won a BCS game last year who brings back the whole team is WAY more deserving then a one loss team who might end up with one win over a team who finishes ranked.

    I thought OSU basically plays 10 mid-majors?

You would think that, and we all know how bright you are.

It's starting to look more and more like Boise or TCU will play for the title. The 1-loss teams are starting to become weaker and weaker...but who knows.

Oh really? Hmmm, I think you might want to check your sources. Boise was undefeated last year and beat TCU and brought back 21 out of 22 starters.
    Nice FAIL by you.
