That'll happen with the schedule they play.

Stupid, Boise shouldnt be dropping. Its not like Auburn beat a powerhouse themselves
  • sleeper
Geez, Michigan State fell like a stone.
  • Blanket
Surprised Ohio State jumped up 2 spots, but other than that it looks about right.
  • Blanket
I just noticed that about Michigan State, man they did take a pretty big leap down.

    ^^^

And somehow still ahead of Iowa who only moved up 3 spots. That is sad.
  • sleeper
Well I mean Iowa does have 2 losses, and are the highest ranked 2 loss team.

    This.

When you get beat that bad, this will happen. Mizzou should have fallen further IMO as well.

I don't get why people get bunched panties over this. This is a human poll. People know Boise and TCU play a garbage schedule. They know they deserve a shot as much as Bethune Cookman. Get over it already.

The team Auburn beat is better than EVERYBODY in Boise's conference, except Boise.

I don't feel sorry for Boise, they can't help that they're in a terrible conference, but they can't be rewarded for it either.

I'm of the group that doesn't understand the sympathy votes for Boise. Their schedule SUCKS.

Fear not though, I'm sure Auburn will lose sometime soon, whether it be in the last few games or the SEC title game.

Also, Oregon looks unstoppable, but they have slipped up in the past. They have some tough games remaining.

Boise may fall behind TCU in the BCS too though.

BTW, depending on the BCS, Wisconsin may be repping the Big 10 in the Rose Bowl.

OSU would most likely get into another BCS bowl anyway though.

    +1

Well I'm of the group that says no one knows how Boise would play against an Alabama or Auburn so it shouldn't be thrown out. We can argue all day whether or not Boise could contend with the big name schools but the bottom line is they win their games and should have a chance to play for a title hence the need for a playoff system.

Boise should drop, they did not look great on Tuesday. Their margin of error is pretty small, while Auburn took care of a decent Ole Miss team. So, for this week at least Auburn is ahead.

Of note, HUGE game upcoming this week. 4. TCU vs. 6. Utah.
And of course, Gameday will be there as they should.
  • jordo212000
Decent Ole Miss team? Haha I've heard it all now. Boise's schedule isn't great, but let's not act like Ole Miss is a bunch of world beaters
  • ytownfootball
Ole Miss would win both those conferences 9 out of 10 years and you know it.

I know, but Ole Miss > La Tech.
And Auburn looked better in their win than Boise did against La Tech.

That said, I'm a huge Boise fan, it is just they need to be crushing people and not giving up 20 points to La Tech. If Boise beats Hawaii and Nevada in a decent fashion and Auburn loses, Bosie is good to go to the title game.

It doesn't matter if Boise's schedule was better or not there are some people who can't imagine a title game without 2 big name schools.

No, actually we don't know that. That is the point.

Who is televising this game? ABC looks like it has a crappy night game (Missouri - TT), poor Herbie isn't having to fly from SLC to Lubbock, right?

Namely, the sponsors of the respective bowls.

Just curious, how many Boise nuthuggers want to see them in the 'ship as they think it would somehow force some kind of play-off?

Likewise, we don't know how Boise would fair in a "real" conference...so why should they be given the opportunity?

It is slated for 3:30. I'm guessing Vs. since they carry MWC games. But, ABC may pick it up, I'm not sure.
