Manhattan BuckeyeReplace Missouri and MSU with Zona and South Carolina (and even Okie St. on top of them). You don't crap the bed like both those teams did today and expect to stay in the top 15.

Auburn @ #11
You will see why when they play Alabama. And perhaps in their bowl game depending on who they draw. -
slingshot4everI still don't like how Ohio State is below Alabama. OSU lost to a much better team in Wisconsin. I think OSU should be the highest rated 1 loss team behind Wisconsin. Even Oklahoma's loss was to a worse team in Mizzou that couldn't even compete with Nebraska (who has 2 losses).

Azubuike24Haha, someone has Boise at 10 and Auburn at 11...
It would be different if all these other teams really deserved it, but Stanford at 7 and Wisconsin at 6? Exigmaax has Arizona at 8 yet Boise at 10? C'mon guys... -

That's the national title pool at this point.
Completely disagree. At this point this is the national title pool (in this order):
Unbeaten BCS conference team (Auburn)
Unbeaten BCS conference team (Oregon)
1 loss SEC team (Alabama or Auburn if they go down)
1 loss Big 10 team (OSU/Wisky, most likely OSU going by recent BCS success, which does play a role in voters eyes).
1 loss Pac 10 team (Oregon if they go down)
1 loss Big 12 team (Oklahoma? Nebraska?)
Boise State
TCU
Boise and TCU need absolute miracles to sniff the title game. With all of the mayhem that's ensued during conference play, it clearly sticks out to me that not playing in a BCS conference is more of a hindrance than ever for them. There's no doubt in my mind that neither Boise or TCU are capable of going through a BCS conference gauntlet and coming out with any less than 1 or 2 losses. -

With one loss, its ALL about WHEN you lost. Bama lost early. Teams can recover from that. Its not fair or right...but it is what it is and always has been. -

You honestly think a 1-loss Pac-10 team is going to get the votes ahead of Boise and TCU? As we see in the polls and rankings thus far, that just isn't the case. I guess we will see, but things are shaking up great for Boise, TCU and the non-BCS cheering section because as we have seen, it's almost impossible anymore to go unbeaten in a BCS conference.lhslep134;539480 wrote:Completely disagree. We can also argue that this year's Boise and TCU teams are a couple of the strongest non-BCS teams ever. It's not like either of these teams are only there because the zeros in the loss column... -

Nebraska only has one loss.slingshot4ever;539461 wrote:I still don't like how Ohio State is below Alabama. OSU lost to a much better team in Wisconsin. I wouldn't say Wisconsin is better than Missouri either. Wisconsin couldn't compete with Michigan State and Missouri couldn't compete with Nebraska. -
Ironman92Auburn/Alabama winner vs Boise State
Oregon will get knocked off and play #4 Ohio State in a Rose Bowl rematch (34-27 OSU)
TCU will face the Auburn Alabama loser in a top BCS Bowl game.
OSU will finish 2nd in the final rankings. -

They don't need votes. The computers will take care of that.
And I agree TCU and Boise are very good teams this year, but I don't think either of them could handle the gauntlet of running through the Big 10, SEC, Pac 10, or Big 12 with 0 losses, therefore they're at a huge disadvantage regardless of whether it's "fair" or not. -
Azubuike24They need votes because the polls are a majority of the BCS. I just don't see Boise and TCU falling enough to fall behind 1-loss Pac 10 and Big 10 teams. The computers for Boise (playing and beating Hawaii, Fresno State and Nevada) and TCU (playing and beating Utah) will actually rise from their current projections.
They might finish well behind unbeaten Auburn and Oregon teams, who deservedly would play for it all if they both win out, but I don't see them being jumped by a ton of 1-loss teams. At this point, you have to think Alabama and maybe Oklahoma or Nebraska could jump them, but not Wisconsin, Arizona, Stanford or Ohio State. -
Cleveland BuckBoise won't get any help in the computers for beating Fresno State, and by the end of the year they won't get much help from Hawaii either. Hawaii's schedule is already a joke, and they still play three of the worst teams in all of Division I college football to end the year. They will get a little boost from Nevada, but if the human polls have a one loss Big Ten or Pac-10 close enough to Boise, they will pass Boise. They probably won't get close enough though. It is a disgrace that a one loss Big Ten team doesn't get the same respect that one loss SEC teams get.
