Charlie Weis' Last Hurrah!

Of course you don't, because your program is in such shambles, that you have to actually pretend like you're proud of a 6-6 regular season, with a win over a WAC team in the Sheridan Hawaii Bowl...God damn I feel sorry for Notre Dame fans (well not you, you can eat shit for all I care, I feel bad for the non-delusional ND fans who you can actually have a convo with)rock_knutne wrote:BTW, I don't care if it's against a WAC team -
darbypitcher22Just trying to say, we beat a Big East, a Big XII, and a top Independent, while you picked on a .500 WAC team.

Not drunk at all, drank about 6 beers, took it easy tonight...Rock Knutne isn't drunk I know that, because he actually sounds like a complete fuckin moron 24/7 so it's not an alcohol problem.ytownfootball wrote: Maybe we should steer this thread in another direction and see who's been drinking the most? -

How many times have I posted about your 13 bowl win drought? Numerousrock_knutne wrote: It amazes me how some people harp on being factual but when you give concrete facts, especially on how OSU has lost several bowl game in a row it's dismissed as laughter.......UNREAL!
How many times have you acknowledge it? 0.
Irony at it's finest.
Somebody complaining about the lack of facts, unable to acknowledge the facts. -
Mr PatGeez louise...

So after all this bashing you and your other bucknuts have done, Notre Dame is somehow a top Independent? Explain how that works? They hadn't won a bowl game since 94, hadn't won a relevant bowl game (in your eyes) since 92, they haven't been relevant on the national scene since 1988, yet you can claim them as a big win??darbypitcher22 wrote: Just trying to say, we beat a Big East, a Big XII, and a top Independent, while you picked on a .500 WAC team. -

Were you not a top Independent when we beat you? Or was UCONN undefeated and I just forgot?karen lotz wrote:

As for the "relevant" thing, I said "big" bowl game because that's what the Sugar Bowl was. Yes the Cotton bowl was better in comparison to that crap you played in last year, but it was a Tier 2 bowl game in 1994. -
karen lotzWho is "we"? and what the hell are you talking about with the UCONN reference? You and others have said numerous times Notre Dame hasn't been relevant in over 20 years. How does that equal being a top independent team?
-

Can you show me the quote where I said you haven't been relevant in 20 years?karen lotz wrote: Who is "we"? and what the hell are you talking about with the UCONN reference? And by "WE" I mean Ohio State.
And I made the UCONN reference because when "WE" (Ohio State for those not following) played you, you were the top Independent team, and I was making a smartass response asking if maybe UCONN or somebody was undefeated in 2005 when Notre Dame played in the Fiesta Bowl.
Try to stay up to speed there, Karen. -
karen lotzI'm keeping up with you dumbass. How can Notre Dame be a top independent team when it has been proven by you and so many others that they haven't had any significance on the college football landscape since the mid 80s. You can't argue it both ways even though so many OSU fans are quick to do.

FYI, I'm still waiting for that quote where I said they haven't been relevant.karen lotz wrote: I'm keeping up with you dumbass. Hmm... How could Notre Dame have been the top Independent team in 2005? I just don't know.
Maybe because they were 9-2 and ranked #5 in the BCS polls prior to the Fiesta Bowl?
CRAZY TALK! They couldn't have been the top Independent!
Still with me, Karen? -
karen lotzI don't feel like going back and reading all 100 of your posts you have spread out on the 3 or 4 Notre Dame threads.
-
DaBrowns41
Or you could just admit that I didn't say that.karen lotz wrote: I don't feel like going back and reading all 100 of your posts you have spread out on the 3 or 4 Notre Dame threads.
The only thing I've mentioned is to that one kid about you guys being 1-9 in your last bowl games and not having won a bowl game for 13 seasons.
I don't appreciate the false accusations, sweetie. -
karen lotzRight, and I asked why you would count the win over ND as a great win, given all those struggles you had so eloquently had proven, but would discredit the Hawaii game?? Do you not follow that?
-
karen lotzBottom line is, Notre Dame has not lived up to the high expectations its fan base expect, there is no way to deny that.
-
sleeperDoesn't ND own the NCAA record for most consecutive bowl losses? So much for "tradition".
ND fans remind me of little Johnny who was force fed Notre Dame football by their delusional parents and now that ND is god awful they go into massive depressions. Sorry ND fans, you're just not very good. -
hoops23Gotta love when ND fans still think they're relevant in CFB.
And how low is the program that a bowl win in the HAWAII BOWL AGAINST HAWAII is considered an accomplishment? LMAO!!!!!! -

What blue chippers does ND have? Isn't their best football player they've had in years a pitcher for the Cubs?rock_knutne wrote: Tonight at 8PM EST on ABC!
Thanks for bringing ND back in to the recruiting picture, atleast you dispelled the myth that ND can't attract the blue-chip athlete anymore, -

LOL, you are calling me a moron, pot meet kettle.
Again, I have acknowledged ND's short comings as a program and I can acknowledge their 9 game bowl losing streak, the problem is some can't ackowledge the fact that ND has won a bowl game and broke that streak. I always thought a win is a win, regardless of who it's against but I guess that thought process only applies to OSU. -
killer_ewokThe Cotton Bowl was actually one of the more prestigious bowls back in 1994. It was absolutely relevant back then.

It's been rough for ND fo several years but I'm not depressed. Things may change soon and they may not. We'll see what happens.sleeper wrote: Doesn't ND own the NCAA record for most consecutive bowl losses? So much for "tradition".

You know, the legit criticisms that are warranted....I welcome them. However, a lot people on here tend to troll and go out of there way to stir shit. It's like the old huddle now and frankly, that's sad. I can take it, but this shit is seriously an eyesore.
We get it....many of you hate Notre Dame and love to shove it in our face when they lose. Maybe you feel better about yourself afterwards. Maybe you just like being a dick to people and enjoy kicking them when they're done. Either way, I'll see ya' around on here. Things can't get much worse for ND. And even if ND turns things around and has success....some of you will refuse to admit and will spend more time trolling and bashing ND because it's what you love to do. That's awesome. -
Skyhook79I was actually rooting for ND in this game. I cannot stand Harbaugh.
-
darbypitcher22Let's see.... when your other independents in FBS over the last 15 years have been you, Army, Navy, FIU for a while, and Temple for a stretch of time I believe too, then yeah, doesn't Notre Dame sound like the biggest name in that group?

We don't count it as a "great win". We count it as a win versus a TOP INDEPENDENT!karen lotz wrote: Right, and I asked why you would count the win over ND as a great win, given all those struggles you had so eloquently had proven, but would discredit the Hawaii game?? Do you not follow that?
