9/11: Miami (FL) at Ohio State

LHSGUY35Let you know before I leave Friday morning. Cooper out is a loss for Miami. His running ability sets up the pass game. Still think on paper Canes are the better team. If this isn't their year next year is. Right now Canes 24-OSU 17

karen lotzPryor intends to put on a show for his mentor, LeBron James and asks that no one calls him any names.

One thing I wouldn't really like if I were Tressel would be Pryor texting James. He needs to keep his mind focused on the game and not about what the crowd is going to do if LeBron is there. He definitely doesn't need to say he owes LeBron a show. Just play the game and get a win. -
LHSGUY35Seriously why is Tressel still letting Pryor talk. Just when I think he says the dumbest thing he keeps on talking. Stop talking it's that simple.

vball10set^^^ please, go away...nobody likes you

LHSGUY35Everyone kills right vball?

vball10setI think you mean "eloquent", and your edited post is not what I was referring to...never mind

dat dudeFrom Bruce Feldman's article (http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/blog?name=feldman_bruce&id=5550018) today:
• I've visited WVU and Marshall the past two days as I'm making my way to Columbus for the Miami-Ohio State game. I spoke to Herd coach Doc Holliday last night about the Buckeyes and he has an interesting perspective on OSU. Holliday was an assistant at Florida when the Gators beat OSU in the BCS title game a few years back and just played this Buckeye team in the opener. He told me that this OSU team is much better than that one. This is a much faster team. That one couldn't run with those Gators. This team could. He said there was a big difference in the speed OSU now has at linebacker compared to what they had before and their O-line is much more agile than the one UF handled. -
Speedofsandgood post dat dude. Doc would know. I think Miami has some speed, but they will make mistakes and OSU wins by 20.
-
devil1197Doc made some good points. OSU's LB's, especially Rolle and Homan, are a lot faster than our normal guys. When Moeller is on the field the speed increases more.
Pryor is still a young guy and as much as I dislike LeBron, he took Pryor under his wing early in Pryor's career. But to say Pryor is not focused is laughable. The guy has said everything right all preseason and seems like he has stepped up as a leader. -
karen lotzdevil I thought you were a big LBJ guy??? Pryor has definitely made strides toward maturing, but you don't think maybe his status isn't getting to his head a little? If he is talking about putting on a show for LeBron, he has his head on something else. Maybe he goes out and puts on a show, maybe he goes out and tries to force things because his mentor is there.

I agree he's made strides, but I'm not convinced he's done saying bone headed things yet. We'll see.karen lotz;477179 wrote:Pryor has definitely made strides toward maturing -
vball10setlet's not try and imagine what's going on in TP's head--I'm sure Coach Tressel's got him focused and ready, and all this other stuff is for bloggers and OC'rs to debate--which we are

How so? Only my question to devil about LBJ could be taken that way and it was a joke. -

What's he gonna do?? Take their cells from them? Idiot.
Who cares who they text.
Nothing lebron would say to him would be wrong.
You really are just trying to make something out of nothing. -
karen lotzOk, I wrote the article for cleveland.com, you are right. Again, what did I say that was a shot at OSU or Pryor? You guys are trying to stir the pot with my post.
-
Pick6No posting the article isnt stirring anything..its that fact that you are all "If I was Tressel..." Who cares who he is texting. Im sure the #1 thing on his mind is winning this Saturday afternoon.
-
karen lotzok.......
-
Tiger2003Karen was Jimmy Clausen mature?
-
karen lotzNot when he first got to ND. By the time he left he was.
-
karen lotzAlso you are stirring the pot trying to turn this into ND/OSU again. Just wanted to point that out.

osu45804Good to see we got Mark May's input on this one.... He says Miami gets the upset because Terrell Pryor & OSU won't be able to deal with Miami's speed.... Looks like we're screwed

Just about to post that he picked the U. Surprise, surprise. Is there seriously a bigger OSU hater?? And I don't just mean that because he picked against them for Saturday. -
wes_mantoothI think the key to this game is scoring more points than Miami.
Go Team -

just like oregon was supposed to have too much speed for the buckeyes
