My only thought is, Pine Crest is a K-12 private school, maybe he was playing in 8th grade?

    WTF?
Im not sure if florida is the same way(figured it is from the 5-year career) but I do know in kentucky kids can play varsity as 7th and 8th graders. Not to long ago OJ Mayo went to school in kentucky to play varsity at a younger age.

He played on the team as an 8th grader.

Kanter signed his LOI today. That's big.

Gilchrist going to announce in about 50 minutes.

Gilchrist to UK as well. What a day. Groundbreaking in terms of recruiting I'd say. More details later!

Terms of their contracts yet to be released? :)

    Just kidding.

What a day for Kentucky. Pretty impressive for Calipari to reel these guys in on the same day.

"I just chose Kentucky because I felt it was a place that had great players, a great environment and a place where I can elevate my game," Knight said on ESPNU.
Really? Because I'm sure all of them (half of the team) left. So what great players are left?

Obviously you don't understand verbs in the past tense?

Obviously you don't understand logic. If there are no more great players, then why would you go there and start anew?

    LOL what??

He is choosing a school which has had great players in its history, a recruiting tool schools use, which obviously worked.

He's not saying there are great players there now, he's saying in the past there have been great players.

Gilchrist is a 2011 recruit. When he arrives, it might just be on the most talented Kentucky team in a long time. That's saying a lot.

Calipari has the potential to bring in the top 3 players in the 2011 class, and quite honestly, Teague and Gilchrist might just be the best 2 players in high school basketball right now, regardless of class.

Im almost positive Teague is heading to L'Ville.

But yes, he is ridiculously talented. But man, did he have a disappointing year for Pike...but his team blew, which is surprising cause Pike is usually pretty solid.

I don't know. I think Teague is bound for Kentucky. If he wanted Louisville, he would be there. He was a Louisville lean but it seems like it has changed. Especially if Knight has a big year, or even if Bledsoe is a high pick. Cal developing PG's compared to Pitino, no contest.

Yeah, but he was waiting because of Pitino. Now that Pitino has re-upped it appears certain he will sign. It sure seems HE WANTS to sign with L'Ville. His father has pushed it back 5 times already.

Just last week when Pitino got the extension Teague said he would make his decision within the week. Then his dad made him wait. Everything just points to Louisville, but honestly, what the fuck do I know, lol.
