I'm not aware of any kids who did not play because of the transfer. There were 3 kids who quit prior to any of that for various reasons, but nothing to do with Seger. Sounds like the transfer got added onto their decisions to not play after the fact.
Probably the kid who has reason to resent the situation is Neil Gingerich, who would have seen a lot more playing time than he is getting. But at Strasburg he played superbly and seems happy with his role.
There are some folks around who are scared to death that someone who lives in x town won't like something like this transfer. They worry what the guys who eat breakfast at the bowling alley are saying about Hiland. So they wring their hands and tell everyone how terrible it is. Most of them will be cheering Seger like crazy tomorrow night. It's a strange world out here some times.
