How about this factpwned. The pens were going to move before Crosby because shittsburgh fans didn't give a fuck about the pens. Tells me all I need to know about shitsburgh Pens. They will run away when their "proud" franchises are doing bad.

A few things to note about that:
1. the majority of those tickets were bought last year because they guaranteed playoff seats by renewing
2. There were more than a few games where the actual attendance was wayyy lower than listed attendance
3. This is not your normal shitty team. This is a fanbase united together against one individual and the fans are basically trying to say F U Lebron by being awesomely awesome.
I know I'm coming off as trying to shoot down us Cavs fans, but I'm really just trying to be fair and unbiased because let's be honest, between the mid 90s when we stopped being good until Lebron people didn't care and didn't go to games. It's not a sign of anything bad on Cavs fans (who have proven this year not by attendance figures but by loudly cheering and never losing faith in this team, including the standing ovation last night that we're the best fans in the league), but moreso the fact that economically speaking it makes no sense to waste money on a product that blows dick. -

Different thread and we are discussing a different topic. My word? lol...fucking weird.like_that;741434 wrote:The last thread you were crying in, you said you weren't going to post anymore on the subject. Nice to know you are sensitive to the topic to the point you went against your word. Also, lets talk about now. The cavs are the 2nd to worse team in the NBA (actually should have been the worst, but Love's injury led to a 14-15 game losing streak for min), and Cleveland's arena had better attendance than the Heat. You can bring up stats from 10 years ago, but I am looking at the stats right now. Most of those cleveland fans going to those games are not yankees, and packers fans as well either. Keep crying though.
You are failing to see the point, which is that YES the Cleveland Cavs do have bandwagon fans. The same shit that you bitch about over and over....and over.
And I give credit to the fanbase for sticking with them this year. I believe its mostly because they want to prove to the rest of the league, fans, etc that LeBron can fuck off. The question is....will it keep up? I'll be surprised if it does. -

Umm actually both threads are about bandwagonism/fair weatherism. It's all part of the same competition/topic. Nice try with that reach and trying to find a loop hole. Like i said in the other thread, you would come back to cry, and you have.
Also, ever franchise has bandwagon/fair weather fans. I am not arguing Cleveland doesn't, but they sure as hell don't have as many as most other franchises, FACT. -

Not true, season ticket sales were last season yes, but just read today how the walk up ticket sales were still strong. Nice assumption fail. -

Did you even read the rest of my post? Maybe you should, try comprehending it, then get back to me.
Also, where is all of this short guy stuff coming from? Is 5'10 short? -

Exactly. Its just recent bandwagoning.
C'mon now...do you think half of these jackasses were fans back in the days of Brevin Knight and Trajan Langdon?
The amount of Cavs fans I know personally increased 10 fold since '03. -

Yes, they just didn't care.
It's hard to care about a product that blows. Fair weathered? Sure. But every fan base has those. -

You 5'10"? Maybe in 6" heels. -

I did, I didnt go to games to watch my team because I didnt care about the outcome of the game.
As for the stuff on the Nuggets and the Cavs.
Lets be real, the only reason that the Nuggets werent left with their tails tucked between their legs after Melo was because the guy forced his way out of town. If Lebron was doing the same thing(demanding a trade) the Cavs would have gotten just as much if not more for Bron. I just think thats a really bad comparison -

I have no idea what you're talking about or where you're gathering this fallacy from but I'm not 5'4".
But if the only thing you can make fun of me for is my "smugness" and this false idea of my height, by all means continue, it certainly doesn't bother me in the least considering I'm not short lol. -

I can agree with that, but I believe likethat implied that the Nuggets will enter the "shitzone" along with the Cavs now that we lost our superstar as well -

Actually I was, nice fail. I have been a Cleveland fan of all Cleveland teams since I can remember. Granted the Tribe was good at that time, but I was loyal when the Browns were gone from 95-99, and still loyal since they have sucked ass for the most part. I was loyal to the Cavs as well, even with the temptation of joining all other bandwagon fans who were supporting Jordan. This was all during a span of time when I lived in Turkey, Italy, Virginia, and Ohio, so I had opportunities to join bandwagons in other states and countries. I know for someone like you it is hard to comprehend that people can be loyal to shitty teams, but there are many loyal fans out there and a good amount of them are in Cleveland. -
Hb31187Exactly what bandwagons were tempting to join in Turkey or Italy that werent soccer teams? And Virginia? idk how you resisted not jumping that Wizzards/Bullets bandwagon

The point is, there are no residential american teams, so it's easy to pick the best team in each respective league while living overseas. I.E. I was overseas in the from 91-98, so there were a lot of cowboys/49ers fans, and also a lot of Bulls fans. Not surprised that went over your head though. Also as a soccer fan I could have bandwagoned on the best teams in Italy, or Turkey.
Also when I was in VA, i could have bandwagoned on the Maryland Terp's bandwagon (NT team) since everyone else in Northern VA did, VAtech bandwagon (with vick), Redskins (playoff team during that time and also tried to buy a SB with that mega team of Deion and company), the capitals who were just coming off a Stanley Cup finals appearance, the Ravens who won a SB at that time, and also the Wizards had Jordan. Nice fail. -

lmao....selective memory eh?
Do you forget that I'm a Pittsburgh Pirates fan AND Penguins. I've been to more Pens games when they were god awful the when they were good. Same for the Pirates.
I would have been reppin Galatasaray!!!
