Also, if I'm not a high seed in my pool I'm gonna be pissed.
Who is you guys? I am the organizer of this competition, thanks. No I don't keep a score sheet. Bandwagon fans stick out to me like a sore thumb though so its not hard. Also, I don't recall your seed, but your pool is going to be the toughest one. Good luck!
Art Modell;741305 wrote:Where's Justin at in these pools? A nyjet fan that lives in Ohio. Such a travesty.
Pool 3 is coming eventually. Such a travesty you aren't going to win pool 1 thus knocking you out from possibly being the first ever biggest POS champ and bandwagon champ.
    Automatik;741357 wrote::rolleyes:

I'm surprised that no "die hard" Cavs fans were included. We all know that the majority of their fans hopped on once the King came to town.

Yeah, because I am sure Chicago fans were selling out their arena before MJ. The Celtics sure had a full house every game before KG and Ray allen came /sarcasm. Also, this is an idiotic statement, and tells me you are only aware of bball starting in 2000.
Automatik;741366 wrote:How were the attendance numbers before LeBron? Tickets? Merchandise sales?

I only knew a few real deal Cavs fans before him. After that....they were everywhere. The same can be said for the Bengals.

You mean the same real deal Cleveland fans who are still selling out their arena? Nice fail. Also, the same can not be said for the Bengals lmao. There are only 8 home games in a year, and the Bengals can't even sell those out. They had to have Kroger and Ochocinco buy tickets for them in order to prevent a black out, and this was during their playoff year. Comparing the Bengals to the Cavs is simply idiotic, because there is no comparison at all. Bengals fans are truly in the top 5 for the worst fan base in the United States.

To think of all those convos about who my team should take with the top 5 pick in the NFL or NBA draft that im missing out on :/

And this is why you are the #1 seed! Congrats! Can't wait to see you reveal your new team when Denver makes it to the shit zone.

    2008-09 820,439 20,010

    2004-05 784,249 19,128
    2003-04 749,790 18,288

    1998-99 352,992 14,120

All I'm saying is that the Cavs had a fair share of bandwagon jumpers as a result of their success with LeBron. Yet you fuckers are so adamant on pointing out bandwagon fans, so I thought I'd share.

Yeah? Then how come we finished last in attendance prior to getting Lebron?

That's pigeonholing one year. Perhaps if you were taller to see above the person in front of you at a Cavs game you'd be able to see that the Cavs historically have had a great following. He made a comment that Cavs didn't have fans before Judas, and was pwnsted on that. Looked like a packed house with Jordan hit the shot over ehlo. Nice fail on backing up "your team". SMH. /Pwning

And unlike Cleveland...when Denver loses a superstar...they dont tuck their tale between their legs and set records for consecutive losses "lolfail"

No....actually I just asked what the attendance was before LeBron. Read again.

A significant increase in numbers? Star power and winning breeds this along with bandwagon fans.

I don't discriminate against fan bases, I just discriminate against idiots. You made an idiotic comment that was proven wrong by facts.

But we shouldn't ever let facts get in the way, right?

Don't try and pretend the Cavs fanbase was anything special in the years before Lebron. Were there fans early-mids 90s? Ya, because we were good. But I remember going to a game in 1998 vs the Spurs and the place was less than half full.

It's not calling Cleveland out, almost every fanbase has pretty weak attendance if the product we're paying to watch blows. But I am calling you out for saying something that is clearly wrong.

The last thread you were crying in, you said you weren't going to post anymore on the subject. Nice to know you are sensitive to the topic to the point you went against your word. Also, lets talk about now. The cavs are the 2nd to worse team in the NBA (actually should have been the worst, but Love's injury led to a 14-15 game losing streak for min), and Cleveland's arena had better attendance than the Heat. You can bring up stats from 10 years ago, but I am looking at the stats right now. Most of those cleveland fans going to those games are not yankees, and packers fans as well either. Keep crying though.

lol what facts? That they had a down year the season they won 17 games, then after getting LBJ the attendance went back up? LMAO nice fact! /sarcasm. Cavs fans have been strong overall since the 70s. You found one year of bad attendance. Congrats dipshit.

lol at the nerd referring to facts. This is the same guy who calls you an idiot or calls your argument stupid if he disagrees with you. The facts are still in Cleveland's favor anyway.

    What about 01-02? 23rd
    00-01? 16th
    99-00? 24th
    98-99? 25th

No, they're not. Look at the previous 5 years before Lebron when the Cavs weren't very good.

16th is not that bad when you are a shitty team. I will give you the other years, but like I said, I am looking at now, i am looking at the worst team in the league up at the top of attendance, in one of the poorest cities in america. /thread.
