I remember sq_crazie guaranteeing that Lebron was staying in Cleveland and now he wants to call Cavs fans idiots for being pissed how Lebon embarrassed them and the City.

I remember when this thread was started and it was supposed to be about the NBA playoffs, but instead you guys have taken it over so that you can take personal jabs at me. Done yet? Can we move on? Better yet, if you aren't done, why don't you just start a whole new thread to belittle me on, so the few of us who want to actually talk about basketball can do it here without sorting through your bullshit.

Technically you continued it by adding yet another post on the matter.

This is funny. The topic on here was about the OKC/Memphis game until YOU decided to throw out this random "gem....."

"Every time someone says CHeat they should be losing credibility with everyone.

It's like hating the Yankees because they "cheat". No, they don't. Don't hate the player, hate the game."

Had NOTHING to do with the topic at hand at the time. Just YOU trying to stir shit up. The post wasn't even relevant to the discussion and now you're posting the woe is me "why is everybody always picking on me", crap. So don't say you're not doing it too.

We'll see what happens if they meet up again next year in playoffs and Celtics are healthy.

The Celtics probably are in the finals if it wasn't for the trade they made. They missed something that the Bulls got which is size to keep Wade and Bron from driving. At the same time, they probably thought shaq's injury wasn't as bad as it turned out to be.

24.3% of Chicago households watched Heat-Bulls on TNT vs. 23.3% of Miami, 10.5% of Cleveland, 3rd most watched market.

Cleveland fans will tell you they are sick of LeBron, but they still watch him out of the corner of their eye.
    No one cares.

When they made that trade a lot of people were thinking "wtf?" He was part of the reason for the Celtics intimidation of Lebron.

As far as the series goes, as much as it pains me to say it, I think Miami will make adjustments and win game 2. Even though Chicago has a decided edge in coaching.

I'm trying to stir shit up?! You're the one saying "CHeat". You're clearly the one trying to stir the pot.

I don't give a flying fuck if anyone is "picking on me". I just said why can't you make your own thread about it so we can have a real discussion here about what the thread is really about? If you hate someone, or want them to do poorly, or are still upset with them over a decision they made a year ago, obviously there is some kind of feeling/interest involved. Is that really that difficult for you to understand?

I am simple minded yet you are the one with the black and white approach. "If you hate somebody that means you care." You can't even give a legit explanation on why we care except for, "if you say you don't care, that means you are lying." Yeah that seems like a very complex way thinking, lolfail. I am sure you have an ex boyfriend that you hate, but also don't care about.
jordo212000;769471 wrote:Bear with me, but I really think the situations aren't as different as you think they are. Both team's ownership groups decided that it would be best to try and excite fans for next season through media. While trying to "excite" both fan bases, both the Cavs and Heat franchises declared that they were going to win a championship. Only.. Gilbert did his guarantee first and then there happened to be cameras around for the Heat's event. What makes Gilbert's guarantee hilarious is just how off base he was. The Cavs going to win before the Heat?
Smh, we get it dude, you don't like Cleveland and their fans. This post is a complete joke and a reach. There is no equivalency of what the heat did, because they set a precedent(see dictionary). No team has ever held a parade like party in the preseason to announce they are going to win a lot of titles. What Gilbert did was make a guarantee through the media. There are plenty of athletes who have done this before (see Chad Johnson). I am sure you will try and fail to find some way to compare Gilbert's actions to the Heat's though. Do us all a favor, and quit talking about sports little guy. Your sports idiocy is growing by each post.

LMAO pwned, that's SQ in a nut shell. If the Heat get eliminated he will do the same thing, because he is a coward.

Actually, no. I thought he was a douche bag as soon as there was an announcement about how he was going to hold a press conference to announce his decision. All REAL cavs fans I spoke to felt the same way. Nice fail though.

That's because he is not only a front running fan, but he is a front runner in real life. When his grandpa's business starts to fail, he will bolt and try to find another family members business.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you didn't join the conversation on the thread until a couple of days ago when you waited to see if the Heat would go up 3-1 on the Celtics and the Lakers-Mavs series to conclude. Also you might want to re-visit your first couple of posts to see who was "stirring the pot". Not to mention your past antics and everyone is an idiot unless you agree with sq_crazies ridiculous statements.

I think it's hilarious that you guys assume you know everything about someones life based on what happens on a message board.

Seriously, do I need to start the thread? The "Bash SQ_Crazies thread"? If I do will you stay out of this one with that BS? I don't mind if you're around and watch to discuss basketball.

You say they are correctable problems, but how does the cHeat correct this problem? Their back-up bigs are Jamal Magloire and Udonis Haslem (who hasn't played in months). So when they go to the bench, they are going to get destroyed on the boards, unless someone can convince LBJ he is 6'8" 260 lbs and is able to block out guys and not just jump for rebounds. Unfortunately, Bron is a dolt and doesn't listen to his coach. I thought "Coach Spo" was going to kill someone at the end of the 2nd quarter coming out of a timeout and 5 seconds into the play the ball reversed to LBJ at the top of the key and the ball just stopped and they didn't run the play he called.
And Chris Bosh is a giant softie. He may have had 30 points, but he was a non factor on the boards. How do they get him to commit to playing tough defense and pushing guys around to get rebounds?
Also, it appears as though the cHeat want to play with this small line-up to try to speed up the game. It seems like a good idea because their bigs, especially coming off the bench, are not good and odds are they were going to get outrebounded if they would play a traditional line-up. Unfortunately, this back fired big time and made Taj Gibson and Omer Asik look like world beaters. The cHeat can go small, and the Bulls can stay w/ Gibson and Noah in the game. Those 2 can defend almost all 5 positions, and then dominate the glass against either James Jones or Mike Miller. Then Asik comes in to spell Noah and plays with tremendous energy to go along with his size that the cHeat can't counter unless they play all-world Joel Anthony 45 minutes a game.
Also, Bibby and Chalmers can't handle Rose. So they either need to put Wade or Lebron on him, which will wear one of those guys down and make them less effective on offense, or them keep using 2-3 guys to try to stop Rose, which puts them in scramble mode and poor rebounding position with guys that are not good rebounders.

Going to be very interesting to see if Coach Spo can come up with the correct adjustments. Then even more interesting to see if LBJ will execute them, especially in crunch time. Or if he will just revert back to his beloved LeIso, 1-4 low offensive sets.

Did you stop reading because he said "CHeat", or because he actually included some arguments and logic related to basketball and therefore you are unable to discuss it? We all know you prefer the pointless name calling and blanket statements

I don't know that he did, I literally didn't read past that part. Anyone who wants to insinuate that the Heat cheated isn't worth my time in a basketball discussion. He may have provided some logic, but he ruined it with the word "cHeat". Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they cheated.

Also, for all of those interested in bashing me, I created the thread:

    http://www.ohiochatter.com/forum/threads/25398-The-official-bash-SQ_Crazies-thread.?p=769635#post769635

So have it, please, make it epic. And stay out of this thread with that crap. Now you have a place to do it, and now (hopefully), we have a place to discuss basketball.
