NBA Playoffs and i hate Lebron/I wanna bang Lebron thread

Near perfect game? Defensively maybe but the Bulls are the best defensive team in the NBA. The Bulls shot 43% from the field and 85% from the line. The Heat shot 47% from the field and 100% from the line. The Bulls outrebounded the Heat but thats was expected also. Although with Joel Anthony being on the Heat it might be a surprise to you.The Boss;769314 wrote:LeBron didn't play in one close loss to the Bulls this season. Bosh played the worst game of his career in another game. But those don't count, right? And remember how often you used to say the regular season didn't matter in the playoffs?
Bottom line is, the Bulls played great. They played a near perfect game--I guarantee their coach wouldn't have imagined the game went that well for them when he was game planning. And the Heat played like shit all around. If you think that is going to happen the whole series then just keep watching I guess. Not saying the Bulls won't win it, but I doubt you see them play that flawlessly again. -
The BossTerry_Tate;769315 wrote:To be fair, the Bulls shot 43.7%. I'd imagine they will shoot better than that in other games, though the 10/21 they most likely will not replicate.
I don't think so. They aren't a team full of high percentage guys and they're going against a good D. The Heat played pretty well on D tonight, just didn't rebound. The difference was the offensive boards and 2nd chance shots--they took 19 more shots than the Heat. That's what won it for them. I think they'll shoot near that percentage all series, the Heat just can't let them have that many more shots. -
robj55september63;769307 wrote:2nd chance points were 36-8 the Bulls. Are you saying Miami didnt play soft tonight? Chris Bosh has always got points and rebounds from a transition game. The playoffs slow down and become defensive battles. Chris Bosh will be a NON factor.
2nd chance points killed them after the first quarter, I don't understand why Spoelstra went with the small lineup with James Jones at the 4 in the second half. -
jordo212000Ohio Chatter will explode if the Heat lose this series haha. These guys are already wetting their pants now that they are down 1-0

robj55karen lotz;769313 wrote:What? He had 30 and 9 in a "slow down defensive" playoff game. I don't think he had one basket in transition.
Don't burst his bubble, he was a huge factor on the offensive end, miami as a whole has to be better on the boards. -

It's amazing what hate for LeBron does. They're going nuts, not paying attention to what is actually happening in the game, not thinking rationally. It's entertaining.
The Heat are still my pick to win it all, and I'm clearly rooting for them. But I didn't expect them to win it all this year and if they don't win this series I won't be shocked--but this place is going to go ape shit for sure if they don't. I'd imagine if they do, it'll be crickets for a few days then people talking about how LeBron isn't shit because he doesn't have multiple rings. -

goes to show you how sad our society is that we pray on the downfall of people we don't even know -

You may be right, but just checked the 3 regular season games and the Bulls shot over 45.9% in 2 of the 3 games(41.5% in the other) and for the year they shot over 46% as a team. The killer though was the offensive boards like you said. Without those the Bulls shooting percentage would have been even worse most likely. -

You certainly "preyed" on the Lakers downfall this year. The contempt for the Heat has a lot to do with Lebron and how he treated the fans and city of Cleveland but its also about their Pre-season celebration, which I don't think anyone has ever seen before in Major Sports.robj55;769331 wrote:goes to show you how sad our society is that we pray on the downfall of people we don't even know -

Yeah, take those games with a grain of salt though. LeBron didn't play in one, best defender on the team. They played maybe their worst game of the year when they were apparently crying after--that was during a rough stretch that everyone knew they would have at some point. And defense is usually more stingy in the post season--and like I said, you look at their roster and they don't have a bunch of high percentage guys--Rose sure isn't. I thought they shot the ball pretty well, they did a good job of hitting shots in big spots and putting runs together tonight. And the Heat, who are the best rotation and recovery team in the league defensively, were taken out of that because of those O-boards. Shit happens, correctable problems though, the rest of the games should definitely be more competitive regardless of who wins them. -

How is what the Heat did any different than what Gilbert did? Haha he came out first and declared that the Cavs would win a championship before Lebron would

The NBA is a business (an entertainment business at that), you put that Big 3 together in one offseason and you're definitely going to parade them around. That means season ticket sales, merchandise sales, etc. I love how you act like Chris Bosh was like, "Hey guys, lets go do this WWE introduction thing and parade ourselves around." That's some event coordinator for the team and the players have an obligation to do it, it's their job. -

Oh really? I don't recall the Cavs having a super preseason celebration party. I must have missed out. -

It would have been acceptable if the Heat made their guarantee within a strongly worded letter with Comic Sans font. You certainly "preyed" on the Lakers downfall this year. The BossI mean think about it, in the NFL, EVERY team has a big press conference to show off their ROOKIES. They do it for local markets mainly, it isn't their fault that ESPN covers it and throws it in your face from whatever city they're in, into your TV in Ohio. You re-sign and sign 3 of the best players in the league, guys who AREN'T rookies, and you're going to show them off.

Fair points. And I just saw Joel Anthony didn't play in the third game of their regular season matchups, so no wonder they shot 46%. (Just giving you a hard time) -

Who were they going to show off? Ramon Sessions?

Yeah you got me thats the same as Dan Gilbert writing a letter to Cavs season ticket holders. -

I have nothing against the Lakers, I respect Kobe Bryant to the fullest, but some of the Laker fans make that very hard lol -
karen lotzGod damn, who the fuck cares about that anymore?

It's cool, I can take it. And isn't it funny that he didn't play in their highest percentage shooting game.
I just love how this goes CRAZY because so many people here want to slam me because I've owned them in arguments in the past. Not saying you Terry, but many others. Because I said Joel Anthony is a stud, and they then decide that stud=GOAT HOF center. LOL, someone else interprets it and runs with it then all of a sudden I meant something I didn't mean regardless of what I say. I think I've seen this story before...
Sad story too , people need to get a fucking life rather than trying to break my balls every chance they get...as if it slows me down. -

Why do you care? Are you a Cavs or Heat fan? Accept your team's sweep and move on. -
