The attendance took a huge jump the year after LeBron was drafted and the team was competitive. Under bad ownership as you said, the team started winning more games and fans started attending games. Your theory is a bad one. BANDWAGON.

Yes i know dumb ass. Gilbert can't help that, but as I have said before (which you conveniently choose to ignore), he is the owner now, they had the 2nd worst record (would've been worst if Kevin Love didn't get hurt), and still were 3rd in attendance. Are you really that dense?

Next thing we know he is gonna bring up the arena league team, indoor soccer team, or the lingerie football team, etc... lolfail.

Yes I understand he is the owner now. Thanks again.

Thanks for proving that everything else (i.e. the more important part of my post) went over your head.

Did you not say people are picking and choosing to not attend Indians games because of poor ownership? Cavs attendance was shit. You said it turned around when Gilbert took over, when in actuality it improved the season after LeBron was drafted and the team was exciting and competitive. Gilbert became majority owner in March 2005, at the end of LBJ's 2nd season. Can you understand that? Fans jumped on the bandwagon because the team was better, not because Gilbert owned the team.

Now both of you try to spin that and say something went over my head. I'm just going off of what your dumbasses are saying.

Sorry to interrupt this gem of a thread, but lets leave the name calling out of this before it results in infractions (this includes moron, dipshit, dumbass, etc.)

lol it is a very solid thread. Necessary too. Can't call someone a moron in the basement?

I thought that was the sole purpose of the Basement. LOL

You can see in my post where I referred to mostly this year. SMH. You are either dumb or just purposely selectively picking portions of my post to try and help your argument. Take your own advice about spinning lmao.

You take me saying " the Cavs had a good attendance this season while have the 2nd to worst record because of gilbert" into "the Cavs only had a great attendance in the past 10 years because of Gilbert." LMAO GTFO. You spin, then your delusional ass convinces yourself we are spinning the topic on you. Like I said earlier this thread was about Miami fans, and so far you have talked about the Cleveland Indians, Gilbert and the Cavs, but of course not the Browns, because that doesn't fit your argument right?

So, what are the exact rules of the basement then? I thought anything goes other than posting pics of people that havent been posted yet. Even the description of the thread says to view at your own discretion.

Anyway, back to the MAIN point, and that is Miami Heat fans are a joke.

    Ok back to the topic.

This past season Miami's average attendance was 5th overall. That "joke" of a fan base's numbers were more than LA, New York, Orlando, Boston and the San Antonio.

The main point of this thread was that Lebron will win a championship in Miami rather than Cleveland.

Take your head out of CoA's lap for a minute so what I'm trying to point out to you isn't so far over your head you can't comprehend.

They are a joke of a fanbase. It took 3 superstars for them to come to games, even when Wade was consistently taking them to the playoffs. Hell the last 2 playoffs they didn't even fill all their seats for playoff games. Now THAT is pathetic. I still see empty seats when I watch their games.

God damn seeing my screen name listed with those 3 pieces of work is tragic. I will now retire from the basement (with the exception of the bandwagon tournament threads).

    Ok, one last post.

I guess this proves the old adage is correct...Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level (basement) and beat you with experience.
