-
killdeerThe award is ready to be bestowed...fattest QB; please weigh in...
7. David Garrard
6. Billy Kilmer
5. Dan Marino
4. Sonny Jurgenson
3. Jamarcus Russell
2. Jared Lorenzen
1. Ben Roethlisberger -
LJDon't we have a pro sports forum on here?
-
Cleveland BuckRoethlisberger is definitely a contender, but I'm pretty sure this is in the wrong forum. Justice will be swift and painful.
-
killdeerI would view the pro sports forum for trivial pro sports concerns...like free agency, the endless Kobe/Lebron debate, and how far down the division will the Indians finish.
this is clearly serious business.
it deals with fat. -
MulvaDaunte Culpepper really let himself go.
-
bwcomet89Jarrod "Hefty Lefty" Lorenzen, 285 pounds.
-
FairwoodKingI like Big Ben because I root for the Steelers. But you're right, he is too fat.
-
SQ_CraziesHe might be too fat for some, but he still produces.
Regardless, there is no way in hell he's #1. Lorenzen was always referred to as the 300 pound QB, when have you ever heard anyone refer to Big Ben as that?
LOL, Ben isn't even close to being that fat. -
FairwoodKingThe extra weight may actually help Ben. He's as big and strong as a bull, and it's very hard to bring him down.
-
SQ_CraziesI agree. Even if he's skinny he's not a speed guy. He's a power runner if anything, he's interested in throwing the ball and it helps him stay on his feet to do that.

Plus he has two SB rings....FairwoodKing wrote: The extra weight may actually help Ben. He's as big and strong as a bull, and it's very hard to bring him down. -

darbypitcher22Lorenzen, and nobody else comes close....
I could deal with it though, guy was fun to watch and got the ball out of there like 110 MPH -
ksig489I think its funny that Lorenzen is wearing rib protectors in that pic...does he really need them? His ribs havent been close to the surface in a long, long time.
-
ernest_t_bassDan Marino? WTF?
-
Thunder70It's lorenzen and it's not even close...

Not so fast, my friend. If the "Throwboy" is weighing in at 285 he is svelte compared to the recent 290-295 that JaFatAss Russell has been listed as.darbypitcher22 wrote: Lorenzen, and nobody else comes close....

Roethlisberger is only in that 260 range even though, facially, he looks like Mike Myers impersonation of "Fat Bastard." -
cat_loverGoing with "the round mound of touchdown" Jared Lorenzen.
-
darbypitcher22but because Roethlisberger is 6'5" nobody seems to notice or care...
-
GblockI think their are fatter qb's that david G.

That's a girdle to help keep the rolls from affecting the throwing motion.ksig489 wrote: I think its funny that Lorenzen is wearing rib protectors in that pic...does he really need them? His ribs havent been close to the surface in a long, long time.
