Yea you have a valid point.queencitybuckeye wrote:
As has been discussed, whether they have a case or not (I agree they probably don't) isn't the issue so much as Justin having to spend thousands, perhaps tens of thousands to defend himself either way.homefield wrote: I don't think they really have a legal leg to stand on or they would be trying to shut down all the other huddle.coms such as thehuddle.com and sportshuddle .com and hundreds of other ones so what is the real deal with the name change. -
Glory DaysJustin should find a lawsuit to bring against them haha.
-
majorsparkBottom line is Bucknutz paid more for this this name change than Justin did.
Ohiochatter as a site name has much more marketing potential than JJhuddle or Freehuddle.
Another bad business decision that will turn around and bite our friends at Bucknutz in the ass. -
I Wear PantsWas minorleague.com taken?
-
Be NiceI'll try to remember the new name change.

Big GainI knew this would happen. I'm surprise it took so long. I figured the half life of freehudddle would be about one week.

justincredible
The actual site/community or the name?Big Gain wrote: I knew this would happen. I'm surprise it took so long. I figured the half life of freehudddle would be about one week. -
JugheadShould have renamed it to "thissitesbetter.com"
So what legal standing does Fucknutz have in forcing the change of a website's name that they have no connections to whatsoever? Could some lawyer-type person elaborate on how this is possible. -
Curly J
The other place is going down hill in a hand basket, and this place keeps moving up. I could care less what the name is, as I just like the freedom that this place has allowed me to have. It's nice being treated like an adult than being over moderated like I was a high schooler.justincredible wrote:

example..shit, yappi, JJ, freehuddle, seriuos business...ya see these words are allowed here and would be censored out over there. It's too freakin' serious over there since it's a business to them, where it is a hobby for Justin...and he's paying for it out of his pocket.
Thanks again Justin !!! -
justincredible^You spelled serious wrong. SMH.
-
Curly JFU Justin !!! Way to make fun of a 'cripple' and an old man at that. Now I see your true colors !!!
Ya think I'm being "seriuos"....(so much for the spell check on Google Chrome) :@ -
SQ_CraziesI like it. Good work man, best idea to just avoid them.
Are some of you others that dense?
And justin, the way others talk about you, you seemingly have 40 hours in a day. Can you spare me a few? -

Feels like I've only got 12 hours in a day most days.SQ_Crazies wrote: And justin, the way others talk about you, you seemingly have 40 hours in a day. Can you spare me a few? -
LeonardoJust wondering if the "serious business" thing towards the top will be moved? I noticed when coming to the site (when not logged in), it talks about "serious business" and "serious business dot com." Will that be changed at all? Thanks and hell of a site!
-
justincredibleThanks for pointing that out, I forgot all about it. I'll change it now.
-
Curly JIt changed for me, of course I've made Ohiochatter.com as my home page....and when I launch Freehuddle.com, in Firefox, I get a nice message of the redirect.
Speaking of which Justin, that Ohio Chatter display needs some work. Might as well add few more hours to your 40 hour workday !!! -

brutus161You do realize that we now all post in the OC?
-
Goldenboy26Good job Justin, I actually like the new name better.
-
Gobuckeyes1More thanks to Justin for putting up with all the bullshit...so we can have a place to bullshit.
-
milehiiuThankyou Justin for providing this great forum for us.
Yes. Just change the name. Those other guys are not worth the bother of a court fight. They have already demonstrated what low lifes they are by banning so many loyal members.
Fact is. I like the new name. No longer reminds me of that other scumbag site.
Onward and upward. Much success going forward ! -
GoChiefsI see this thread has turned into the 'Who can kiss Justin's ass the most' thread.
PS...don't bother...wes has ANYTHING below Justin's waist on lock.
