I'll be working on an email to send out to all users tonight.

freehuddle.com will still redirect here until at least Monday. I am trying to get a hold of someone at BuckNuts to talk about this without having to go through their lawyer but I am so far unsuccessful in getting someone's information.

    I like the name...

I don't like the reason why you had to change it...but I like the new one.

Thanks again, Justin, for putting up with all this shit.

Yeah, sorry about the multiple name changes. I'll go ahead and refund you your membership fee to make up for it. ;)

Cause Justin was stealing JJ's internets !!! (Their site started going down hill and Justin, with our help, was to blame).
  • Woollums9
i know that i just wonder what they are trying to sue him for...like thier "legal reason"

Fuck those punk bitch motherfucker and their suckass board which has gone down faster than Paris Hilton in night vision.

    ....nice new name BTW.

Wow... Justin continues to take the high road while JJ Huddle continues to go for low blows.. And they wonder why people left?

Seriously, how sour can they be? If they would go their own way, except their mistake and start from scratch, they may be able to keep it going.. Instead, they want to pick battles that don't need to exist.. I mean seriously, threatening legal action over a website name that's not even related?

I understand why you don't want to go through the BS Justin, but I think it'd be hilarious if someone actually fought them over this and finished burying the grave that Matt and Eric began digging sometime ago...

So are you being forced to turn over the URL to them, or just stop using it? And I'm also curious what legal grounds they are using to force you to stop using FreeHuddle.

JJHuddle and Bucknuts owner and operators need to attend several business ethics classes because they have no fucking clue how to operate a classy business.
  • Stiffman
The nuts at Bucknutz will disagree with the new name because it has Ohio in it - JJ's had it in the page title, just not the website url.

i bet there is a lot of chatter going on in huddles too.

and some how, "Dating for Seniors" is the ad for this thread haha.

I don't think they really have a legal leg to stand on or they would be trying to shut down all the other huddle.coms such as thehuddle.com and sportshuddle .com and hundreds of other ones so what is the real deal with the name change.
  • Stiffman
Even frivolous lawsuits cost money to defend.

As has been discussed, whether they have a case or not (I agree they probably don't) isn't the issue so much as Justin having to spend thousands, perhaps tens of thousands to defend himself either way.
