Really brought me back to when I was growing up as a youngster watching the NBA and how heated some of the rivalries got..
It was a really cool documentary, but my roommate, who just started following the NBA in the last few years was like...so how many championships did these teams wind up winning?

I answered zero, neither Miller nor Ewing has a ring. (Go Bulls!)

He said, so why did they make a 90 minute documentary about them battling it out in the early playoff rounds?

I really had no response. But it was still pretty sweet.
Because, it was great basketball. Some of the best I'd argue.

I loved it. Like others, it brought me back to the days when I loved the NBA. Those Pacers and Knick teams were sick. BTW, someone needs to do a documentary on the Rockets during that time period too.

My gf, who is not an NBA fan watched it with me and really enjoyed it as well. She said why isn't the NBA like that now? I had no response.
haha according to people on here, they say it's because the players now have a better basketball IQ....

I don't see why there isn't more trash talking in today's game. It made the game fun and a hell of a lot more entertaining than what it is now.

haha i thought it was funny when reggie found out about john stark's mother and what she said to ewing. he said he wouldnt have went that far to use that in the game...i bet he would have.

I don't trash talk, simply because I can't back it up. But it brings intensity to the game. But it also gets you T'd up it seems now adays everytime.

Tonight "Run Ricky Run" is airing about Ricky Williams and his absence from football. Pretty incredible that now when we have people like Pacman, Ben, and Vick getting accused for the crimes they committed that so many people were in uproar back then about Ricky Williams and how he was a disgrace to football for smoking weed.

I think tonights should be really good. Ricky Williams is a pretty interesting guy, and the fact that he has come back to NFL and been solid says alot about how talented a player he is.

Yeah they just ran a snippet of it on Outside the Lines and it looks like a really good piece.

I will be watching this tonight, Ricky is interesting because he is such a deep and intellectual person.

Ricky Williams is my favorite player. Always wish he'd have stuck it out, but I think he'd have died without the time off. Loved this 30 for 30, but my favorite is still The U.
