  I did see There will be blood, which was good, but I didn't think he did anything so much better than anyone else. His character seemed a lot like his character in Gang's of New York. (Which was also good)

  I'd probably have to go with Philip Seymour Hoffman. While I haven't seen all of his movies, in the ones I have, he truly immerses himself in his roles.

  Quality not quantity...Have you seen There Will Be Blood? Gangs Of New York? He steals the screen every time he is on it and literally makes you believe you are watching who he is portraying..Just watch TWBB and tell me you don't get a chub.
