september63100,000 ppl to Haiti equates to 3.1 million here................can you imagine a disaster killing 3 million ppl in the US? It is 1% of their entire population.

CinciX12The poorest country in the world will never even be able to crawl again after this.
Talk about a knock out punch. They don't have the money in the capital to rebuild a single building. -

That's why we'll do it for them and they'll end up better off than they were--not that it's a good thing that so many people are dead, don't get the wrong idea.CinciX12 wrote: The poorest country in the world will never even be able to crawl again after this.

cats gone wildPrayers to their country. I pray that God comforts the ones who lost loved ones, and that people who are stuck in the rubble can be freed. Very, very sad. I think their is a website to donate. Red Cross, maybe?

Whether there is a god in the sense that you mean, you are an embarrassment to humanity.sleeper wrote:

I'm just tired of the double standard. When something good happens, people are quick to say "I'm so blessed, thank you God". But when something bad happens they are quick to "pray to God for these people". You can't have it both ways, and there's no doubt in my mind God killed these people, so praying to him only means you agree with his decision, which of course you agree to laying destruction on some of the worlds poorest people.HitsRus wrote:

You don't believe in 'God"...so what does it matter whether people who do believe, pray to him or not? It's no sweat off your ass.
Just get your checkbook out and/or do what you can to help humanity since you can't offer your prayers in addition to money or help. -

Oh don't worry, I pay taxes, and the United States will no doubt write a big fat check to the people of Haiti. That is worth exponentially more than praying to a God who wanted it to happen in the first place.HitsRus wrote:
