My friend caught a black guy in his truck last night
-
Fab1bHey just cause one lives in Fl doesn't make us redneck, now you are doing the same thing here bro! I am a former Ohioan and there are plenty of areas like that in Ohio too. This whole debate is stupid. Yes putting the "Black Guy" in the title was a ploy to get you to click on the thread to see what it was about, that was wrong in that sense, I don't think it makes the guy racist, it was just a bad choice.
-
Speedofsandkrambman I agree except I didn't think it was going out of my way to say black in the title. I thought it was relevant to the humorous line about a black guy turning red. Using a Mexican server comment is not relevant.
Tiernan, I changed nothing. 'turning red' is being embarassed. The man was embarassed, my friend laughed it off and they both will live happily ever after. You will live a miserable life hating people in Florida, Tebow, and boiled peanuts. Your loss. Stay classy, God Bless Tiernan -
cbus4lifeI love boiled peanuts.
-
TiernanNot miserable at all...in fact pretty damn happy at the moment. And yea your right Fab1 living in FL doesn't make you a redneck but it sure gives you an excellent opportunity to live next door (both sides) to one!

Ohio, by and large, is just a sad extension of the South when it comes to tolerance and intelligence. Only difference is the accent.Tiernan wrote: Fab1 living in FL doesn't make you a redneck but it sure gives you an excellent opportunity to live next door (both sides) to one! -
Fab1bI believe every state has sections that one may refer to as redneckville!! Like I said, former Ohioan, 18yrs, GO BUCKS! I can tell you from experience there is just as much racism in Ohio as there is in FL!!

TiernanC'mon man you don't see Confederate flags on trucks in Ohio and you know you passed at least two on your way to work this morning in FL.

Located on I-71 about halfway between Cincy and Columbus. -

This is a joke, right? I see Rebel Flags in Ohio all the time. Ever been to the Ohio Valley or to places like Groveport? I'm not sure where you live in Ohio, but I guarantee there are as many rednecks here as there are anywhere. Over the holidays my wife and I were at the Eastland Mall in Niles. I saw a guy wearing a sleeveless shirt that had a Conferederate Flag on it (never mind the fact it was cold as heck out side). This is all the way up in the northeast corner of the state.Tiernan wrote: C'mon man you don't see Confederate flags on trucks in Ohio and you know you passed at least two on your way to work this morning in FL.
I believe you will find similar guy in every corner of the state save the Victorian Village in Columbus, Oberlin, and some inner city black neighborhoods where that would not be welcome. -
Heretic
That's bullshit. If you live in a rural part of Ohio and don't regularly see confederate flags on trucks, you must be legally blind.Tiernan wrote: C'mon man you don't see Confederate flags on trucks in Ohio and you know you passed at least two on your way to work this morning in FL. -
TiernanIt was a joke...kinda. But I do see alot more of that blatant racist BS in FL than I do in OH and I own property in both. At a private marina near Boca Grande there is a black lawn jockey statue with a noose around its neck behind the gate and anyone driving on Rte 776 can see it and yet nobody seems to raise a stink about it.

A racist joke, and I call BS on the lawn jockey. Why didn't you raise a stink about it ? Because you are full of hate , prejudice, and racismTiernan wrote: It was a joke...kinda. darbypitcher22can't believe the truck was unlocked....
-
fortfanMy neighbor has a confederate flag license plate on his lawn tractor.

bases_loadedWow what a bunch of high horse fucks we have here. Since when did using black to describe to color of someones skin become racist?
-
Fab1b
Its not racist, it was just worded wrong IMO. I think the thread title is misleading, as you open the thread expecting to hear some crazy story of what this "black guy" did. That ended up not being the case and really being black or white or anything had nothing to do with the matter in the end. It was just some guy that got in the wrong truck, no damage done just poor wording.bases_loaded wrote: Wow what a bunch of high horse fucks we have here. So because you assumed that the fact it was a black guy in his truck he was doing something wrong, the thread creator was in the wrong? hmmmFab1b wrote:

Really it is a play on words, why the hell else would black need to be used to describe someone on the thread title?? Why the hell is everyone so damn sensative these past couple days? I am defending the thread creator, as some stated it was racist. I am saying it is not racist, just a poor play on words IMO!bases_loaded wrote:

Yeah, contextual ads, I believe, can be any one of several that pertain to the subject matter within the thread.enigmaax wrote: All I got was a stupid Silverado ad.
The other site used contextual advertising as well, which is how I got this ad while on JJ once:

What was Jim doing wrong? -
Fab1bYou know damn well that is not two in the same! If you would have said, I caught Jim before he left work.......................then you had to open the thread to see what you caught Jim doing, that would be the same!
