TNA does not have the financial backing of a Ted Turner like WCW did back then. TNA is probably going to be on the verge of bankruptcy after hiring senior citizens like Hogan. The difference between WCW in the 90s and TNA today is that WCW had the financial backing AND stars like Hogan were 15 years younger back in WCW then they are today in TNA.

I think Vince should target a few key TNA wrestlers when their contracts are up and simply offer them the WWE minimum contract. This would force TNA to dish out more money to keep their stars and push them further to bankruptcy. There are really only a handful of wrestlers that he should do this with, as most of the TNA roster is filled with former WWE has beens or younger guys who were in WWE developmental contracts who were released from those WWE contracts. Other than a handful of wrestlers, TNA is basically a roster of former WWE talent that Vince let go.

I agree. You have Hogan (with plastic hip), Nash (who could double as a Dept Store Santa Claus), Hall (double chinned last I saw) and a strungout X-Pac. Look it was great 12 years ago, but these guys are ancient history. It's time for the old guys to stop embarrassing themselves and coming back on and looking ridiculous. Piper was on WWE a month ago and with his gut I doubt he could lace his own boots.

    Hi,
I am a big fan of of wrestling. I am a fan of WWE. In WWE, Raw is my show and I never miss raw.I also see smackdown.
I always watch WWE on television and INTERNET. I never watched live WWE. Sometimes I also see TNA. In WWE,
My favorite wrestlers are John Cena, HHH, Shawn Michal and Undertaker. I love WWE so much.

I have seen that the Bret Hart deal is through Wrestlemania. I would not be surprised to see Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker with Bret Hart as special guest ref, and Shawn Michaels will be on the verge of beating Undertaker when Bret screws Shawn.

    ^^ Possibly and quite interesting.

TNA appears to be debuting almost an entire new company's worth of workers tomorrow night. It is too bad that everyone will be watching RAW instead, but good for trying on their end I guess.

I saw that pretty much confirmed thus far has been Scott Hall, X-Pax, Paul Heyman, Mr. Kennedy, RVD, Angelina Love (returning), Shannon Moore, Jeff Hardy (according to his Twitter), and everyone knows Hogan. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Ric Flair show up.

It will be interesting to see if anyone else knew is dug up to come on as TNA is clearly pulling out all the stops.

I don't read the sheets anymore, thanks for the info. Mr. Kennedy is the single personality that I would tune in for wherever he is wrestling. Hopefully he has his shit together and is used well.

I've always been a huge Scott Hall fan, but why is the mention of his name no longer one of those "damn gotta see that" moments?

B/c nobody really knows if he's gonna be there or not or what kind of shape he's going to be in.

Everything I have read is that they are trying to gear towards a Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon match at Wrestlemania.

Haven't seen anything about Kennedy going to TNA and last I saw I doubt it as he was holding out for a new deal with WWE. TNA will get blown away anyways on Monday no matter who they trot out there. The intrigue of a possible and potential Bret-Vince or Bret-HBK show down is too much for anything TNA can offer.
  • King Curtis
Nothing TNA will do tomorrow night can close how big the ratings gap is going to be.

Oh I know that TNA isn't in any position to compete with WWE. At this point, I don't know that there's anything they can ever do. For me personally, I might start watching a little more regularly if Kennedy were there.

As for Bret-Vince. Bret Hart is probably one of my top five (maybe just ten) wrestlers ever. But I never cared that much for his mic work - his drawing power was all in the ring and generally the build had to be carried by someone else. I have very little desire to see a Bret-Vince match at the age and condition of either. There *could* be some good stories awaiting Bret Hart, but if it doesn't involve some kind of breakout talent, it really isn't going to be much different than any other Vince build/feud in the last few years and I'm pretty much over those.
  • KnightXC1
Bret may not have been the best on the mic and he even admitted it on his DVD. I wouldn't say the build for his feuds had to be done by someone else because he was very central in almost every feud he was in outside of leading up to the Ironman match wih HBK. I imagine if they do go through with Bret and Vince, it will for sure be a street fight or something like that so that neither has to do as much. It's sad too because if Bret hadn't had his stroke, he could probably pull a Ricky Steamboat and have a damn good match with someone like Jericho, Kofi, or Orton.
  • King Curtis
It will be a street fight if they go through with a Vince-Bret match.

If things could have been different, I would have loved to have seen a Kurt Angle-Bret Hart match. They could have been one of the best of all time.
  • KnightXC1
^^ Bret said in an interview a few years ago (When Kurt was still with WWE) that he was the one guy he really wish he could wrestle. Bret and Kurt could have had one of the greatest matches ever.
  • King Curtis
It appears that The Hart Dynasty will be on RAW tomorrow night as they have been called to be in Dayton.
  • sportswizuhrd
RVD will not be at TNA, but Jeff Hardy will be. Whether he will be on TV or not, remains to be seen.
  • King Curtis
Hardy will not be on TV but will be backstage with his buddy Shannon Moore.
  • heel023
It would shock me one bit to see Hardy show back up on TNA tv.

They just showed Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore arrive at the arena (during a commerical break from UFC).
  • sportswizuhrd
King Curtis saying Hardy will not be on TV= fail. Haha.
  • End of Line
Tonight will be the first time in about 4 years that I've watched wrestling. Only because of Bret hart.
  • ZombieKiller
WWE is already winning the battle without even being on the air.
  • Elliot Stabler
    Hardy is a liar.

He left Vince because he didnt want to wrestle anymore and wanted to focus on acting and his music.

I hope he falls flat on his face.
  • King Curtis
And hell has now frozen over for wrestling fans.
