Love my evo lte -
believerI have a Verizon iPhone4 as a perk from my company. It's not bad but if I had a choice I would have preferred a Droid Razor Maxx like my wife's phone. Pretty sweet.
But my iPhone was priced right...FREE with unlimited data. -

The RAZR MAXX hasn't been known to randomly catch on fire when it's just sitting on the passenger seat of the car...superman;1234407 wrote:This might be the funniest thing you've ever posted.

I'd take the battery life of the MAXX over NFC on the SGS3. Plus the MAXX is more durable (KEVLAR, water-repellent), and Smart Actions might be the coolest thing I have seen on a phone.
I'll say it again...
RAZR MAXX > Galaxy S 3 -
thePITmanJust got the Incredible 4 last night in replacement of my original Incredible. Loved the old Incredible, and love the new one so far!

Are you saying that you can put Motorola phones in the microwave to dry them off? If so, please provide a video with a demonstration.sherm03;1235019 wrote:The RAZR MAXX hasn't been known to randomly catch on fire when it's just sitting on the passenger seat of the car...

VZW Phone List:
1a/1b) iphone 4s (I don't care for iOS but apple provides good support and updates for the phone)/galaxy nexus (nexus device, nothing more to say)
2.) iphone 4 (cheap and see above iOS comment)
3.) galaxy s3 (I will never again trust samsung to provide updates, locked!)
.

.
4.) Motorola phones (at least they aren't making motoblur as ugly anymore. locked, locked, LOCKED!) -
AutomatikI'm a 4s owner and IMO you can't put it #1 on Verizon when it still doesn't have LTE.
In areas with good LTE their speeds are insane. -

No need to put them in a microwave. Did you miss where I said the MAXX is water-repellent?Jawbreaker;1235290 wrote:Are you saying that you can put Motorola phones in the microwave to dry them off? If so, please provide a video with a demonstration.

Locked bootloaders are the most overrated reason to not like a phone. For 80-90% of the customers, rooting the phone isn't even considered. So there is no need for an unlocked bootloader. -
wes_mantoothThe s3 blows them all away performance wise if you care about quadrant scores. I think the camera is a lot better than the maxx and Motorola continues to use pentile screens which aren't real great. I understand that you have ties to Motorola through your job, but it is ok to admit that the newest phone out is better than a six month old phone....lol

Did you not read the link in my post? You referenced the s3 catching on fire and that simply isn't true. The guy put it in the microwave to dry it off.sherm03;1235312 wrote:No need to put them in a microwave. Did you miss where I said the MAXX is water-repellent?

It may only be 95% but when I have a phone for more than a year, I don't want to get stuck with an old OS version. All these Android manufacturers have dropped the ball when it comes to updates. I understand part of that blame is on VZW but the other part is the manufacturer.
I am only going with Nexus devices from here on out because of this. I hope that one day Motorola builds one because they make some of the better hardware on the market. -
namod65Well I'm going to pick up my new S3 tomorrow. I'll give it a little review after I use it for some time.

Solid choice. I know a couple people that have them....and say nothing but good things -
namod65Ok I've been using it for about a week now. Still don't have every feature and function down yet. Already used the GPS program and it was very nice, I liked how it automatically shows where the heavy traffic is. S-voice is very convenient, especially for when in the car. I've already got my multiple emails linked up and love the convenience of having them in my pocket at all times. I use facebook and twitter quite a lot, so it's nice to be able to access them easily on the phone. The large size is not a big deal at all, it still easily fits in my pocket and is very comfortable to hold. I also like the "swipe" feature when texting, however, I don't like how the predictive text won't spell swear words. Anyone know a way around this? I also love how flexible the Android OS is. It's awesome to be able to customize and add features where you want them. This is something Apple always fails hard at. With just a little knowledge, you can make Android much more convenient and user friendly than iOS. Can't think of much else to say right now, still tinkering and figuring stuff out but so far I'm a big fan.
