What if I said he does it so that he can work on things he's passionate about? I'm convinced that's what it is, because he's never been a lazy guy, but he has some incredibly geeky hobbies.

    This.

I'm still nonplussed. Someone with a legit 160 IQ is IRL so freakishly smart that their geeky hobbies include working on finding a cure for cancer. A 160 IQ is the 99.997 percentile.

Either the IQ isn't legit, or he's secretly doing something miraculous in his basement. Or he's just unmotivated and not a success.

Im the unmotivated and not a success part. Probably due to my mental illness and prior addiction to marijuana.

Based on his artwork (one of his hobbies), he's definitely motivated. Just not things that have as much to do with his intelligence. He teaches himself different mediums for art, and being a big cartoon and comic nerd, his sculptures and digital animations are mostly the Incredible Hulk and Pink Panther.

Just an odd guy. Very awkward. No social skills to speak of, which is another reason I think he prefers jobs and hobbies where he's pretty isolated. He did live with his parents well into his late 30s, but other than them, he seems to keep pretty much to himself.

Your basic Occupy Wall Street ass wipe who someday will wonder why he got jack shit, then blame everyone else for his misfuture and expect me (the dumb one with bad grammar and successful) to pay for his fuck up .... Perfect :)

If you think everyone who disagrees with you is either stupid, naive, or has some nefarious motive then I think you're probably pretty stupid.

That's one way I evaluate the (lack of) intelligence of people.

    A

Actually, he's about like you, politically. He lives very simply.

He's equally as odd as you too, Belly. :P
