  Belly I'm in South Loop. Lots of rental units, but sky high prices. We got in last year at a steal for $1750 (Van Buren/Franklin www.235vanburen.com). It's a condo building so we're renting from a the condo's owner. The units are brand new. However, there are no amenities and parking is ridiculous.
  
  Your daughter's in lakeview? Nice...we looked in that area, and I recommended that area for my GF for when she makes the move to Chicago.
