What is your favorite dog?

Wouldn't mind a Boxer, though. Fiance and I found a stray Boxer at camp last year. Had we not found the owner, we were ready to take her home. Thankfully, the "Angel" was returned to her rightful owner.

Boxers are awesome. We probably would've got one instead of our small dogs but it would've destroyed our hardwood floors. That, and our yards is pretty small. Not enough room for one to run.

goldens and labs....I'd probably like Huskies and german sheperds too, even though I never have had one. There is a reason for that, and that is that they are not bred very far from the wolf....hence they are very family oriented, and are very kind and protective of those they identify as being in their pack. All those toy and specialty breeds are farther away from wolves and most are hyper, unaffectionate sorts. You can keep them. If you can fit it in a purse, that is not a dog.

Chocolate Lab. We've got one, and my dad has also had baby deer living in our basement for about two weeks now.

I have always been a lab guy, but we adopted a Chesapeake Bay last year and I love him. Hyper at first, but very lovable.

I had one of these growing up. Favorite though are english bulldogs. I fucking hate lap dogs

I've always wanted a boxer; brother in-law has a boxer mix and is the coolest dog ever. Plan on getting one when I get a bigger place.

Grew up with beagles and rabbit hunted. Hard to beat a good beagle that can jump and cleanly run a rabbit.

Other than that, I have gone from 4 beagles to a maltipoo. Great little dogs.

Still hard to beat a stray mutt that is picked up. They quickly become the most loyal dogs you can own.

The smartest dog I have ever had was a Doberman.
My best buddy was a pit bull.
