If he has a running tab on unpaid goods he doesn't have shit.

LOL at the old school Bill Elliot NASCAR hat.
  • j_crazy
Lol at the huge cardboard sign written in ballpoint pen.

    That is the restaurant's fault/issue.

If they didn't want him to have a tab, they would have made him pay it.

Who advertises an all you can eat dinner then nearly runs out? Dude ate 10 pieces, not 100.

Agreed. He should've paid his damn bill and then he probably could've stayed. I liked when the waitress asked him about his tab, he really didn't have a good excuse for why he hadn't paid it off.
  • Curly J
If I was the restaurant I'd tell him to pay his tab. That way the could buy more fish for him.

I completely agree that the dude should pay his frickin tab, but him paying his tab wasn't the issue, it was allegedly that they didn't have enough fish. The dude ate like 10 pieces of fish. If they want him to pay his tab, they shouldn't tell him that they're running out of fish, they should tell him to pay his tab.

If they truly were running out of fish because some guy ate 10 pieces, they have bigger problems than some dude not paying his tab.

If they didn't stop him, how many pieces would've he ate? (Life's great mystery..)

Also, who knows how big those fillets were. I guarantee this guy'd of had no problem putting away plenty, regardless of their size. I agree with Curly, pay your damn tab then I'm sure they'd have no problem with him eating his fill.

The tab has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. None.

It is the restaurant's fault he has a tab. The agreed to it.

The promotion is all you can eat. Not all you can eat if you don't have a running tab.

LOL one person eating 10 peices of fish? Sounds like a fat piece of shit. spread the wealth man. Ham, potatoes, steak, roast beef. Gotta love the all you can eats.
  • raiderbuck

His tab is so large they can't afford more fish.

Similar story happened to this dude we were hanging out in the Flats with many, many moons ago. A bar called "Sebastians" used to have an "all you can eat prime rib night" on Friday's for $19.95. I lost count of how many this little dude ate but it had to be damn near close to 20 of those things. Never saw an eating display like that... ever. Guy was probably shitting out blood the next day. They cut him off and he was pissed...wanted his money back.

    "All you can eat"

If I was the owner i walk up to this customer and say " That is all you can eat" bye :D just like the sign said.

    Nothing wrong here

Both parties are at fault here. Big guy for having an unpaid running tab and the restaurant for almost running out of fish. I think I'll side with the restaurant since that guy's sign is pretty shitty.

IMO, as soon as he sits down for the all-you-can-eat, and they serve him without making him first pay his tab, it is 100% on them. To just stop in the middle and say, "Hey, you're eating too much, we gotta cut you off." Wrong.

It's a rare case of life imitating The Simpsons, and not the other way around.

Probably. I still don't like his sign.
