You must be a lonely guy.Belly35;1170509 wrote: If it is breathing and I can pick it up don't take it home -
like_thatGreat thread. This should be moved to the basement for better responses!

dlazzI said this in the other thread, but I'd never skydive. I'd likely faint before I jumped and would plunge to my death.

ZWICK 4 PREZPretty good list, all things concedering.

I am pretty sure you have to jump with someone your first couple times. So even if you passed out the other guy would be working the chute.dlazz;1170526 wrote:I said this in the other thread, but I'd never skydive. I'd likely faint before I jumped and would plunge to my death. -

Sorry standard typo.... "can't pick it up" -

I still wouldn't do it. If I fainted, I'd just be out of it for the duration and it'd be a waste of money.justincredible;1170528 wrote:I am pretty sure you have to jump with someone your first couple times. So even if you passed out the other guy would be working the chute. -

Nope. First time we ever went and ya went by yourself. It was static line jump. For like 50 bucks more and an hour of training you do free fall. 1-2 guys jump WITH you though on that jump, but the static lines there is no instructor jumping with ya. One in the plane..one in the DZ waiting for ya.justincredible;1170528 wrote:I am pretty sure you have to jump with someone your first couple times. Funny little side note. If your chute does not work and you have to pull out your reserve you will be charged like 50 bucks if you dont hang onto the metal handle thing for the reserve chute. -

No way in hell I'd jump by myself the first time. No way in hell.thavoice;1170540 wrote:Nope. First time we ever went and ya went by yourself. It was static line jump. ernest_t_bassNever put mayonnaise on anything, but I will eat things made with mayo.
Never kiss a girl after she's sucked you off. -

Yeah when i went at no point did i think about pulling the cord, i was too busy staring at the ground yelling "this is so fucking cool!"justincredible;1170528 wrote:I am pretty sure you have to jump with someone your first couple times. Then i got tapped on the shoulders and the instructor let the cord rip. -

Sure, call it the pussy way. It's the only way I'd ever jump out of a plane.thavoice;1170547 wrote:You could always go the pussy way out and tandom jump. The girls did it that way..... -

Dude...please...you have no business ever calling someone a pussy.thavoice;1170547 wrote:You could always go the pussy way out and tandom jump. The girls did it that way..... -

Hmmm....Most places I've seen only allow you to tandem jump. Like 5 jumps before you can do a static line. Always assumed it was the liability, but maybe it's just a scam to milk you. I don't see anything weak about it - most injuries happen because people misjudge distance and flare too soon.thavoice;1170547 wrote:You could always go the **** way out and tandom jump. This isn't the basement, snot. So this should, under the new rules, receive an infraction.SnotBubbles;1170569 wrote:Gross. -

Which rule did I break, ETB?
- No personal attacks or unwarranted name-calling. Just because someone has a different opinion doesn't mean they're an idiot.
- Do not continually harass other members (this includes moderators).
- Do not aggressively troll a thread with the sole purpose of derailing it.
- Do not reveal anyone's identity.
- No swearing in thread titles.
- No pornography or gore.

In that case you should have ten infractions today.ernest_t_bass;1170570 wrote:This isn't the basement, snot. So this should, under the new rules, receive an infraction.
No beans for me cant stand them. -

Is the only one I question. If I start with whiskey and later switch to beer, I'm OK. If in the opposite order, not so much.Belly35;1170509 wrote: Never mix beer, wine or whiskey in the same evening when drinking

You're the worst - snot comes back and you turn into a whistle blowing baby. Any time there's a change in the rules you're crying about people not getting punished and wasting space being a tattletale. Harden up dude!ernest_t_bass;1170570 wrote:This isn't the basement, snot. 1) Well, synjin smythe, that was kinda a personal attack. You made me out to be a semen lover, and those weren't my words.SnotBubbles;1170575 wrote:You're such a girl today.

2) You said something about my sister early, so now you're following me around, which could be harassment.
3) Your comment doesn't add to the discussion, so it can be seen as an attempt to derail the thread. -

If they want to brag about enforcing the rules, then they need to enforce them. I actually don't care for the change, but they said they are going to enforce them, so I'd like to see them follow through.Raw Dawgin' it;1170586 wrote:You're the worst - snot comes back and you turn into a whistle blowing baby. You could even free fall on your first trip if ya wanted to but two guys I think jump with ya.
I didnt get much time to really check out the view as I kept trying to get the chute un twisted. IT wasnt anything that was gonna kill me...just was tangled a little that I couldnt turn or pt on the brakes to flare out at the end. I had to PLF effectively so I wouldnt break both legs!
