    They have low salaries no doubt, but they definitely get their special privileges that allow them to live within their means while living on base. If you don't like the low salary, then get your education and become an officer. Pretty simple. Speaking of which, they can also go to school while being enlisted, which is also paid for by the military.

    Food is taken out as a deduction at least for the Navy it is. No need to swipe anything. Everyone at certain commands pay the same.
