What is the worst thing you have found in your food from restaurants?

9 out of 10 times I saw it, it was young kids from 16-24 ish.
We saw an older couple(late 50s) do it at Carabas. The big long table thats first come, first served. My finacee and I were eating at that table, the older couple was across from us. They made conversation with us and everyone around them. The wife had 1 and a half steaks because she complained about it not being done correctly. She then went to the bathroom, he joked about her while she was gone, ordered dessert and then said he was going to check on her. The dessert came...neither of them ever came back.

The waitress was pretty upset about it and everyone vouched for her when the manger came over, the manager then said that couple had done that once before! Hopefully next time they learn their lesson and don't seat them.

OH that def was it. His place was in trouble before this. At one point I saw a story of how many false claims were made. Pepsi was looking to make them pay for false claims because of the damage it did to their brand.

Are you stupid ... I'm 62 years old I can fart in public an nobody would say a word. :D
If you think for one minute I have never made a fool of myself in public, wrong again mofo.
When you're right you can never be a fool.

So that was your plan to clear the restaurant?

Exactly, mistakes happen but they should be fixed and someone should definitely apologize. It's like when Gordon Ramsay goes into restaurants and terrible shitty food is being sent out and the kitchen is filthy. How do the managers not feel like they should do something about that?

Hell even at the pizza shop if I fuck up a pizza I'm not going to give it to a customer and that's not even a big fuck up like a band-aid. I mean like if the crust didn't rise properly or something. A band aid and I would definitely be yelling at someone.

I understand this can happen but the attitude of the manager dictates the solution and the cost of the issue .

Both situation we did not pay for the meal, was give a new meal (we order something different) and was give a gift card for $100.00 </SPAN>

Note: What you don't want to happen in a restaurant full of people is a guy like me to raise his voice. I mention to the manager that he had 3 minute before this place will clear.
The manager said that he would call the police .... Not a problem ..I have to police number in my cell phone, dialed it for him... and handed it to him. He hung up... :) </SPAN>

That 100.00 gift card is no big deal to a restaurant .. think about it cost of the food and the mark up % they got off cheap&#8230; </SPAN>
What do you know, another been there done that post by Belly.

How the hell is the server responsible for something in the food from the kitchen? Any former or current servers out there ever had to pay for a customers bill due to something like this or even a dine and dash?
I have heard of places doing this, however, I don't think that a manager can legally require a server to pay for a bill that was walked out on.

I know where I worked our general manager would gladly let someone like belly raise his voice and call the cops. We used to be on 3 hour waits all the time and while our gm would have comped the food and offered you free desert he would never have givin you a gift card over a toothpick in a salad. I saw this happen twice in about four years and one time the guy was escorted out and ticketed for trespassing and the second the guy continued yelling and was eventually taken away in handcuffs. Both times no tables left infact most commented on what an ass the guys were. The place I worked was a higher end place at Easton.

I found a smoked cigarette in my pizza hut wings container after I called to complain about them messing up my order. It was between the foil and container so it wasn't touching the food. All they wanted to do was refund my order.
