One of the few times I have to agree with ya. Most people are brainwashed in thinking they need smartphones, but they dont. I see it every day where people try to justify the reasoning to get it. Years ago it was justifying why to get your college kid a phone. Then it was justifying why their HS kid needed a phone. Then it waas justifying why their 16yr old needs a phone, then it is justifying why your 12-14 year old needs a phone. etc etc etc.

Hell, I am in the biz and I believe a vast majority of people do NOT need them.

How exactly does a TV increase your future wealth?

If people only bought what they needed, they wouldn't have much of anything. Food, shelter, and water... Private transportation isn't a necessity because public transportation is available.

Your argument is stupid. Do you need the computer you're typing on?

Do you need the wife who has you by the balls, thus turning you into a baby back bitch? Not really.

Why is his argument stupid? He probably does need his computer at work......He is jsut saying most 12-14 year old kids dont need a smartphone....

The elitist attitude here makes me laugh.

    LOL @ this rationalization.

No one needs a smart phone. They are designed to make boring people feel cool because their phone can play games and surf the web.

    Color me impressed.

pissing is tough since it's easier to drop the phone into the toilet or urinal

Pissing would be odd. Who takes a piss that last long enough for it to be worth it?
  • Commander of Awesome
Ppl come in on the phones and continue to use it while pissing. Could be reading emails/news story. Also notice that people are talking on the phone while in the bathroom at a higher percentage. Least once a week I hear some dipshit taking a dump while talking on his phone. I always make sure to flush twice when I notice this.

Gotcha. That makes more sense. Talking on the phone is ridiculous.

But even the emails and texts and stuff. Id just put the phone in the pocket for 2 minutes till im out. Sitting, well that is good to go with texting and emailing.

Spending time on this forum is a waste of productivity. Buying a new tv is a waste of money and watching it is a waste of productivity. Think of all that opportunity cost you are missing out on!!

lol the tv is apparently for his nephew. I'm curious how old sleeper is cause that sounds like total bullshit, doubt he has a nephew old enough, if he even has one, that would need their own television

Spoiling your nephew....thats a good way to teach him you have to work for what you want in life.

I sync my smartphone with my car using Bluetooth and it allows me to check emails and respond with voice recognition. This allows me to increase my productivity because I can check and respond to about an extra 25 emails while waiting in traffic each day. When at the office I know I can save the less important emails for the drive home giving me more time to prepare presentations and meet with clients. The hour of driving each day that I can now use as a billable hour to a client easily pays for my phone and cell phone bill for a year in less then a couple months. So not only do I increase my productivity but I increase my billable hours/income.

YEs...you are true on the first part...our economy would suck if people bought only what they truly needed.

Second...yes..I need this computer I am typing on right now...it is works computer and without it the business transactions woudl be minimal and out of business within a month. I do not own a computer at home. Once I leave work I have no access to the net, I pretty much turn off my phone most evenings.....so....NO.. I do not need or own a comptuer.

Translation: I am not allowed having a computer or the internet at home because I have no balls and my wife is a bitch and wont let me. I also turn my phone off in case any of the guys from work send me something inappropriate (picture of a naked lady) so that my wife will not see it and flip out.
