imex99Anyone have one, use one at the gym or can recommend one to buy?
-
mucalum49Saw commercials of this and thought it would be crazy expensive ($3-4k). $1299 still isn't cheap but it seems pretty cool.

SonofanumpI have a recumbent pro form I am happy with.

sleeperCould always buy a real bike. Cheaper, and it can actually get you somewhere.

You ride outside in Ohio in the winter? Plus a REAL bike is not cheaper.sleeper;1064966 wrote:Could always buy a real bike. Cheaper, and it can actually get you somewhere. -

No. I use my car.Sonofanump;1064968 wrote:You ride outside in Ohio in the winter? Plus a REAL bike is not cheaper. -

So your attempted point is not valid for a portion of the year.sleeper;1064971 wrote:No. I use my car. -

My point is still valid. I can afford a car, I don't need a bike. If I couldn't afford a car, I'd be in your position and I wouldn't be a giant pussy and ride the damn bike.Sonofanump;1064975 wrote:So your attempted point is not valid for a portion of the year. -

You don't need a bike to exercise. Go on a walk. I just saved you 2 grand.Sonofanump;1064999 wrote:A stationary bike is for exercise, not transportation. -

I'd be stunned if you could keep with my exercise routine and I'm sure I was born a decade prior to you.sleeper;1065005 wrote:You don't need a bike to exercise. Go on a walk. I just saved you 2 grand. -

I'd be stunned if your bank account was 1% of mine and you're way older.Sonofanump;1065007 wrote:I'd be stunned if you could keep with my exercise routine and I'm sure I was born a decade prior to you. -

FatHobbitIn a few weeks there should be a bunch of lightly used exercise equipment for sale from everyone who gave up on their new years resolution.

Was gonna say the same thing. You can pick up alot of stuff pretty cheap from people who buy stuff for home but dont use it.FatHobbit;1065018 wrote:In a few weeks there should be a bunch of lightly used exercise equipment for sale from everyone who gave up on their new years resolution.
It is difficult PTing at home. It really is. Too many distractions and there is that mental aspect that you can do it anytime, and in turn you dont carve out any time to actually do it. Many people can stick to it at home.....but it is much more difficult to do so. -

I'm quite the opposite. If I had to drive to a gym (30 minutes away), I know I wouldn't train as much...especially in the winter. The fact that I have a 15 second walk to a commercial gym (my garage) keeps me motivated. Plus I prefer to train alone unless I need a spot on the bench.thavoice;1065224 wrote:It is difficult PTing at home. It really is.
