I agree. Lady = woman. Chinky = Chinese Eyes = the one with the eyesPick6;1052052 wrote:Maybe the lady didnt give the cashier her name or he didnt understand her so the employee used the best words he could to describe her?
How else are you suppose to describe an Asian woman? -

There might have been multiple Asian ladies in the pizza shop. When "Order for Lady Chinky eyes" was called and she went up to grab the pizza, she herself also believes that is her name and fits her description. She's part of the problem and she's trying to play the "woe is me I have chinky eyes" racism card.ManO'War;1052064 wrote:Like that. -
friendfromlowryHell, perhaps it's just an honest mistake and the employee didn't mean any harm. Maybe the lady said her name was "Larry Cherrypie" and the employee didn't hear her because Asians are hard to understand (side note: That's not racism, that's true. I lived with two people from Hong Kong for a couple years and half the time I had no idea what the hell they were saying) so he just wrote down "Lady Chinky Eyes" because that's what he thought he heard.

This post is so racist. Haven't you learned that anything negative about minorities, even if its true, is racist?friendfromlowry;1052071 wrote:Hell, perhaps it's just an honest mistake and the employee didn't mean any harm. friendfromlowryI don't consider talking fast to be negative. Nothing wrong with be efficient and saving time, right? And if people don't hear you, then fuck 'um.

LOL, no.Scarlet_Buckeye;1049137 wrote:Political correctness strikes again.
I mean, she isn't really playing the race card when someone actually made a racial comment to describe her.sleeper;1049178 wrote:Racial?
Hardly. I treat all races equally, period. I'm just tired of minorities always trying to play the race card and I'm not afraid to call it like I see it. If that's racism, then so be it.
A racial slur is considered to be worse because it is attacking who you are. Just calling someone an MF'er isn't attacking who and what they are, it is an opinion of what someone else thinks of you. But the lady is asian and "lady chinky eyes" is a racial slur attacking her heritage.sleeper;1049303 wrote:I guess I should rephrase. Why is a racial slur considered to be worse? That is what I'm trying to allude to.
I personally do not get offended when people make racial comments against me (Lebanese), but I can see why it would bother some.
Papa John's was right to fire the guy. #1, he is an unskilled worker and can be replaced easily. #2, Papa John's is in the service business and depends on a wide customer base to make money, they do not want someone like this representing them. #3, I really don't know why this made the news. -
