Recommendations for the Phoenix area. Also, Sedona.

I Wear PantsI was stuck in the Phoenix airport for twelve hours once.
Hope this helps. -
BORIStheCrusherCheck out Old Scottsdale one afternoon. Lots of small shops and a bunch of old western shit. Not really a place for people who live there, but if you're visiting it's worth checking out once.
Mill Ave at ASU, full of good bars and restaurants.
Fashion Square mall is awesome if you want to do any shopping.

I think I've heard the same. Also, someone told me something about spring training. Have you looked into that?hoops23;1015493 wrote:I hear that it's hot there.

I'd do it since my irons and putter are PING but my wife would hate it.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1015518 wrote:Schedule a tour of PING's facility.

I enjoyed it, but I also do club building as a hobby, so it was nice to see how the experts do it. Your wife would hate it though.justincredible;1015646 wrote:I'd do it since my irons and putter are PING but my wife would hate it. -
Commander of AwesomeCheck out the Painted Desert.

OneBuckeyeMake sure you get a rental SUV if you are going to Sedona. It will help get to the good trailheads. Plan your hikes and study the trailmaps before you go. They also have some atv rentals etc that are fun if you can convince your wife.
-
SnotBubblesI was out in Buckeye, AZ about 5 years ago for work (about 5 miles west of Goodyear and 10 miles west of Phoenix). The whole place is a shit hole. The best advice I can give you, is go into the shitty little town of Buckeye and find the little hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant. It doesn't look like much, but it was the greatest mexican food I've ever had.
The most fun we had (and we went into Phoenix looking for some night life) was driving around the desert roads. Stumbled across the NASCAR track out of nowhere...but saw a lot of cool things just driving around. -

Won't take too long and a nice view at the top. Some steep areas but really anyone can do it, especially if you take a rest or two on the way up. -

I know what you can do in Phoenix: YOU CAN FUCK OFF YOU DUMB ****** PU$$Y.justincredible;1014817 wrote:My wife and I are planning on taking a trip to Phoenix in February to catch some Reds spring training and explore the area. For those who have been to Phoenix, what are some restaurants and sights we need to check out. We will likely take a trip up to Sedona. Outside of that we have no idea what we'll be doing.

I found a few ATV rental places today and the wife agreed to it. Looks like it will be about $200 for a 4 hour rental. Do you think that will be enough time?OneBuckeye;1015670 wrote:Make sure you get a rental SUV if you are going to Sedona. It will help get to the good trailheads. I can rent a motorcycle for an entire 24 hours for $140 but she wants no part of that. Because she's a pussy. -

That should be plenty of time if you want to get laid, women straddling a 4 wheeler seat for a long period of time isn't a good thing. If they have a Ranger Rzr or something like that I would check that out too. Most of the trails are not far off the main road, just make sure you check out maps and trail reviews if possible. My wife wouldn't go for it, so we just hiked. Have fun!justincredible;1073671 wrote:I found a few ATV rental places today and the wife agreed to it. justincredibleThanks.
I also found a jeep tour/lunch/horseback riding tour but it will be $300+ for the two of us. She'd like to go horseback riding, but she's never done it before and I think she would hate it. I'd rather her ride my friends parents horse for free and decide she hates it instead of deciding it after spending $150. -
OneBuckeyeYeah horseback riding might not be the best idea, if she will freak out going up/down a steep incline I wouldn't recommend. The pink jeep tour is the ever popular jeep tour. I think it was like 100 bucks, not sure. It was good, but hiking was just as fun.

hangonsloopyPink jeep tours are pretty fun. A lot cheaper than renting your own vehicle.

This is a good time. No fat chicks in Phoenix, unless they just moved there from the Midwest.sportchampps;1015494 wrote:Asu to look at coeds
Go to Snow Bowl in Flagstaff. http://arizonasnowbowl.com/ and hike up to the top of mountain.
Amazing scenery.

Con_AlmaWe drove from Tuscon through Phoenix and Flagstaff to the Grand Cayon. There are self guided tours that the Park System has and you can explore many canyons and scenic areas. It was fantastic.

RotinajHey, if you're still looking for things to do i think i read somewhere that the Reds were going to be there for spring training. It sounds like a lot of fun. You should definitely hit that up!
