Recommendations for the Phoenix area. Also, Sedona.

My wife and I are planning on taking a trip to Phoenix in February to catch some Reds spring training and explore the area. For those who have been to Phoenix, what are some restaurants and sights we need to check out. We will likely take a trip up to Sedona. Outside of that we have no idea what we'll be doing.

I'm not a ginger, the sun doesn't bother me.

Old Scottsdale area. If you like hanging out with the Senior citizens, stay around Sun City. Just look out for golf carts.

Pretty cool that the Tribe is there too so ya could catch a game of their's.

Guess the ST complex is out in the middle of nowhere.

Can I suggest that while you are gone that NCF be in charge of the OC?

I bet spring training will be going on while you're there. You should check that out.

Also, we'll be there before the games actually start. We'll go over and watch them practice a couple times. The players are more accesible before games start, which is nice.

Ya should convince your wife to be a little bit too friendly with one of the players and maybe she could make some bank off of him and you could share in the wealth.

The area itself is cool, but downtown Phoenix sucks ass. Definitely hit Sedona, and do the nightlife scene in Scottsdale. There are several good restaurants in the Fairmont Princess, and there are a bunch of bars and clubs in one central area (I forget what its called, I know Cream is one of the bars).

On your way to Sedona, take the scenic route, not the highway.;) It will be an experience you will talk about the rest of your life.
