  Truth. I get a daily laugh from a couple co-workers who regularly talk about needing to drop weight, but virtually every day they wind up going out to eat fast food, pizza, etc. Makes you just want to yell "DERP!!" to listen to them...

  I don't really like diet pop, but I can't drink regular coke or Pepsi. I don't know what it is about them but it hurts my throat. I usually either drink water or root beer

  What's hilarious is that people who drink diet sodas tend to eat more sugary foods because while the sweetness of the soda masks it having no sugar their body still craves sugar. So they'll eat their huge meal and then still crave sugar and justify their dessert because they got a diet drink.

  Here in Hawaii they are trying to pass this bill that will allow the state to put a high tax on sugary drinks. Don't know how much of a tax yet though. But it was a topic on the news last night.
