Acoustic like lots of guitar and/or synthesizer? Folksy like Dobie Gray (Drift Away) or Marvin Gay/Frankie Beverly or David Bowie like? I know others were mentioned, I am just trying to get the direction we should be thinking, a "more like". Patches by Clarence Carter, although I don't consider that acoustic? It is catchy.

Can we eliminate both Simon and Garfunkel?
  • rydawg5
yes eliminate simon and garfunkel. it seemed like a love song but was more like john denver..had a corny vibe like "dance with me" from orleans.

I saw Poco. I didn't see any song listed. It sounds like Orleans' Dance w Me so I posted it.

Understandable, but I occasionally post useful stuff. This was one of those rare occasions.

It is good. I'm still not positive it's what I heard before but I think so haha. I had no idea who sung it so this would make since.

So "sunshine" starts with the letter "C"?

"Shanty" still gets airplay, so maybe a 1 1/2 hit wonder? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6vyTM_qJAE
