Somehow 16,000 people watched FIU and Akron play.

Didnt seem like that many were there, it was homecoming though, so could be a possibility.

They are a client of my employer. We had numerous teams working on the project, and my team's strategy wasn't chosen.

    Topless half time

Student Punt, Pass and Kick contest $1.00 fee per contest, sign up early male and female contestents... potential winning $50.00

Man, and I was sure "burn that whole shithole city down and start over" was easily the best plan for the situation...

After reading this thread, I think the only logical thing to do is to tell them to fuck-off.

Was that actual attendance or tickets sold/given away?

    You misspelled "excrement".

Hell, I didn't even ask. I didn't want to know what the best we could come up with turned out to be.

All right Akron, let's give it up for Ronald McFondled!

Not sure if this has been brought up, but when I was in college at Toledo, students were admitted to the game for free as long as they provided their student ID. This would surely get attendance up I would think.

Already in effect at Akron, unfortunately.

Pay them to go to the games?

That was actually an idea presented.

Hey I have an idea guys, let's reply with ideas to the OP though it is no longer relevant.

oh wait, some of you are already doing that.

    Sounds like a plan.

Unless "return to 1-AA" was the winning plan, it's not going to work.

I believe at another DI school in the area they count season ticket holders twice if they actually show up

UT Alumni Also. '01. It was not uncommon to get 4,000 to 5,000 students at a game. Then again, we had something that Akron does not. An exciting team that wins games.. When I was there we were spoiled having 3-4 future NFL players there at the same time. (Gradkowski, Moore, Taylor, and I think one of the safeties or linebackers made it in somewhere). Even now when I see a UT game on TV the stadium looks at least 3/4 full.

Chestor Taylor played with Tavares Bolden, not Gradkowski. Gradkowski redshirted as a freshman Taylors senior year.

Probably not the answer they want from Otrap's firm, but the correct answer unless they want to continue fooling themselves.

For some sick reason, this is on TV in Youngstown.

The winning plan appears to have failed miserably.

Lol, was just watching. It's like 23423 to 0 in Central Michigan's favor. Disgusting.

    huh?

anyways, I never seen any special promotions for the game. Did notice a few alumni cheerleaders on the sideline though.
