My guess is that this will be one of the first 5 shows that gets axed.

    I concur.

Whitney is god awful. Glad its gonna go soon.

Playboy Club is the first to go, and as many of us thought, Free Agents probably isn't far behind.

There was a lot of hype on that Playboy Club show...hilarious that it flopped

Gonna check out that American Horror Story on FX tomorrow night
  • se-alum
Whitney got a full season pickup, somehow.
  • Fab4Runner
Kinda bummed about Playboy Club. I liked it.

    I'm with ya on this

I'm going to give the American Horror Story a shot because it's on FX but I really don't think the previews do it any justice.

1st episode was bad. 2nd episode was much better.

I'll keep tuning in as long as she keeps dressing and acting like a slut.

I really didn't think it was that bad. Maybe because Minka is very easy on the eyes. They also had a very tough time slot.

    What time was it on?

    Bit the dust...
    Playboy Club-NBC
    Free Agents-NBC
    H8r-CW
How To Be A Gentleman-CBS(Starred Kevin Dillon aka "Drama" from Entourage)
    Charlie's Angels-ABC

    Full Season Pick-ups
    New Girl-FOX
    Revenge-ABC
    Suburgatory-ABC
    2 Broke Girls-CBS
    Secret Circle-CW
    Ringer-CW
    Hart of Dixie-CW

Also, Dave Attell is going to be hosting the adult version of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Showtime starting on Thursday. MST3K has nothing to do with it but it will have the same concept or close to it. It will have other comedians and actors/actresses from that genre. Should be pretty funny.

8pm Thursday. Up against established shows like Big Bang Theory, Community, and Parks & Rec.

Has anyone checked out Tim Allen's new show? It's not too bad.
  • SnotBubbles
I've been watching it. Have the last 2 episodes on the DVR, caught the first two. It's not bad, probably will get picked up because of the Tim Allen factor alone...ratings are good.

I'm excited for AMC's "Hell on Wheels" premiering November 6th.

Tim is the funniest person on the show but so far every cast member has contributed something funny. I like the underlying message of the show also.

I too will watch Hell on Wheels.
  • Tiger2003
Gold Rush "Alaska" season 2 starts Friday on Discovery! Does anyone else watch this?
  • Zoltan
Anyone watching Homeland on Showtime? First four episodes have been pretty good.

Isn't Benson leaving, too? Also, how did Stabler leave (I missed it).

I think those two are type-cast, maybe him more so than her. Hard to imagine walking away from the money they were making (I believe $400k+ an episode). Sure, they have a boatload of money but also relatively young and tv series stars rarely seem to get any other decent work after a run.
