Premier Week

Prime Suspect looks badass. And Maria Bello is schwing F'n Hot!

My wife and I liked it. But I'd totally bone the main character (chick from 40 Year Old Virgin).

Person of Interest kept me entertained, probably my favorite new show.

Up All Night is pretty good, New Girl is OK, will probably keep watching both for now.

Going to give Terra Nova a shot next week, and Last Man Standing (Tim Allen) when it debuts in October.

Any other new shows worth watching that I didn't mention above?

Prime Suspect w/ Maria Bello was pretty good. Probably the one drama I will watch this season, though I plan on giving Playboy Club a shot, just haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I'm a little shy about getting into dramas because the get cancelled and leave you hangin', like they did with Detroit 1-8-7 and Chicago Code.

Here's what I caught and the grades I give them.

Person of Interest - A (I think this is CBS' next big show)
    The New Girl - B+
    Up All Night - B-
X-Factor - C (American Idol II...not ready for another American Idol yet)
Whitney - C- (fell asleep watching it...disappointed, previews looked hilarious)

I have Prime Suspect DVRed...will probably watch tomorrow.

    Looking forward to:
The Walking Dead Season 2 (first season was one of my favorite shows of all-time)
Hell on Wheels (AMC's next original series....western....looks amazing)
    American Horror Story
    Terra Nova

Anyone watch Grey's Anatomy last night? If no one else did, than neither did I.
  • bigdaddy2003
I don't think X-Factor will even be as good as American Idol with what I have watched so far.

    Reps.

However, they should change the name of that show to "Gheys Anatomy." You could co-star with Neil Patrick Harris.

    It's Patrick Dempsey, McDreamy. Duh.

Okay...I'll have to give you reps later. I just repped everyone on this fucking page and still couldn't rep you yet. Ghey. This website could also be featured on the show "Ghey's Anatomy."

I don't think x factor will get good till the live shows. I like it better than American idol already. Have person of interest recorded going to watch it tonight. Svu isn't the same with out stabler and criminal minds is always good
  • dazedconfused
loved person of interest and 2 broke girls. new girl was ok. whitney was just bad (a laugh track? really?)

Is there something in particular you like better than American Idol or all of it in general?

I forgot Stabler was leaving SVU. Damn I'm a lot less excited to watch it now (still sitting on my dvr).

From the 15-20 minutes I've watched of X-factor, I liked it better than AI also.
  • bigdaddy2003
Hm looks like I may be in the minority about X Factor. To each their own I suppose.

I hate the age thing with american idol. Also I like how x factor has groups and can go to any age. And there's no Ryan seacrest dude annoys the shit outta me.

I agree about the age thing but I don't really like how they are auditioning with music. It's also weird seeing them audition in front of the big crowd but that is kind of cool because they have to react to singing in front of people earlier than in American Idol. I'm just ok with X Factor so far but to each their own.

Agreed I think it will get good once auditions are done

Caught "New girl" ... not bad

Did anyone watch "Revenge"? I thought it was pretty good, not sure how long they will be able to keep the story going, but at least a season or 2 ...

Surprisingly, Whitney is one of the creators of 2 Broke Girls. She should probably stick to creating and not acting.

Just read the thread from start till now and was waiting on someone to mention Revenge. I like it a lot but I too wonder how long they can keep this going(wont say why I wonder without mentioning what's already happened in case anyone wants to start watching it).

Checked out SVU and Two and A Half Men. They both lost a big player(moreso THM) and they are both definitely going downhill this season.

Storm Chasers was good other than that Dexter Sunday thank god and House Monday.
  • bigdaddy2003
    So far I have caught:

Law and Order: SVU - Losing Stabler is really going to hurt the show but they grabbed Danny Pino (Cold Case) so that will be alright.

Unforgettable - Detective show where the main character has a great memory. It's alright. I will keep watching it.

Free Agents - "comedy" on NBC starring Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn (Derek's wife from Step Brothers). It was mostly bad. I already quit watching it.

Up All Night - comedy on NBC with Christina Applegate. I like it so far. Will keep watching it.

Sons of Anarchy and Always Sunny In Philadelphia have delivered as they always do.

Haven't watched Person of Interest or Terra Nova yet.

Ready for House to come back on next week.
