Akron Zips Soccer, IS IT A REAL SPORT?

  Just looking to see what everyone else thinks about soccer. Do you think it is a real sport or is it a second tier sport, such as badminton, bocce ball and dodgeball. I know some people refer to it as football but in America football is a contact sport and in soccer you can't tackle anyone and if you do they start throwing red cards around and make you sit out of the game. Now if the thread about Akron soccer is a real sports thread, shouldn't it be in the professional sports forums? That just proves my point, soccer is not a real sport if it is in the Serious Business forum.

  Last time I checked Akron was a college, therefore Akron soccer is not a professional sport.

  LOL. I screwed up with teams, I was thinking about the Akron Summit Assault, I have to listen to a couple of people I know in Akron that are all excited about the new team. I thought thats who they were talking about in the thread I was banned from. So yes I have been pwned.
