Entourage Finale

I thought it was great, but I'm married w kids now and in love w my wife. To most, it might have been kind of cheesy. But, great use of a great Zeppelin song to close it out IMO.

Ok, gotta run...I've got Mrs Ari on pause lol.

Almost forgot, how about THAT phone call for Ari to ponder??? There's the movie! ;)

Why are you referring to yourself as Ari?

Waitwut? I was joking about going to beat off to to how good Ari's wife looked on the tv. I wasn't but I'd be lying if I said I didnt pause that last scene for a sec when I watched it lol.

Loved the finale, as predictable as it was 5 episodes ago. But whatever. The wedding is a little dumb, cause Sophia from all her appearances wouldnt ever marry after a few dates. So that pissed me off. But wow to that phone call. The movie will be awesome if it focuses on that!

I liked the ending and this half season I hope we get a three part movie

I liked every episode up until this finale. It seemed as if the writers just threw this episode together to try and close the series up. The Ari storyline flowed together fairly well, but the E and Sloan just magically being ok and Vince getting married after 24 hours with a woman that was apprehensive of even getting together? Lame.

I think the finale was great. Granted, the Vince marriage is spontaneous as heck, but isn't that why we always watch? The crew has always been spontaneous. This episode was truly about family and what not.

THey have to do a movie. No reason for the CEO to call Ari at the end and offer him the job. They have many options on where to go with a movie script, but with the phone call at the end of the movie to Ari, I feel like that may end up being the focus point of the movie. Who knows...I am depressed that it is over. Still feel like it was one of the last decent series on tv today.

Tons of rumors about a movie, but I heard rumors that The Sopranos would have a movie too. We'll see what happens. They may have just been messing with people.

My DVR cut off just as Ari was getting up to answer the phone.

    What was the call?

Wasn't a big fan of the finale. Great show though overall. I'm definitely going to miss it.

I really did not like this finale, it took several storylines and tied them together hastily and lazily in 30 minutes. Vince is getting married to a girl that hasn't given him a second look for weeks? No love for Turtle the millionaire, or any mention of Drama's career? Ari has been trying to get back with his wife forever, and just like that ... bam, all is forgiven. And the fact that a turd like E can land Sloan is enough for me to start another rant haha.
  • Tobias Fünke
    Eric is a turd? Explain.

I thought the finale was corny....did not care for it.

.....now curb on the other hand was hilarious and wrong with Larry claiming Michael J Fox was using Parkinsons to harass him.

And I pretty much agree with all this

Well he did quit his job lol that was the reason why she took him back most likely...he proved to her that finally, it's family first over work.

...which then made the 'phone call' at the end even better, because it will test him in this movie.

I think a half hour was ridiculous. At least make it an hour and tie everything up. It felt rushed.

If it would have ended without that last scene I would have been disappointed. But I love Ari and love the cliffhanger.

The one thing Entourage has been great with is season finales; this wasn't the best one, but the phone call at the end made the whole show. I've heard for the past three years they will be releasing at least one movie, so there is a very good start to it.

I thought it was a great finale.

Ehhh Vince is arguably the biggest movie star in the world. She could very well have been so unresponsive to Vince to hide that she really wanted him. It seemed a defense mechanism of sorts. She played hard to get, but once he got her, it was easy.
No love for Turtle the millionaire, or any mention of Drama's career?
I thought one of the best parts of the episode was Drama telling Turtle it didn't matter he was a millionaire. Besides I think they wrapped up their storylines more last episode, and this episode allowed for more of their classic personalities and interactions to come back.
Ari has been trying to get back with his wife forever, and just like that ... bam, all is forgiven.
Throughout almost the entire series, Ari's biggest problem was his inability to handle work and family. Now he finally gets rid of the single factor getting in the way of his family. It seems more than plausible that, considering they obviously still love each other, she is willing to give him a chance after he sacrifices his entire career for family. Besides, how can this be surprising when people get back together for far less and under far worse circumstance in real life?
And the fact that a turd like E can land Sloan is enough for me to start another rant haha.
Hard to disagree with that, but I think Kevin Connolly was dating up in real life too.

Im pretty sure he isnt. He is famous, but not near the TOP. They are always mentioning other "real-life" actors that the studios are talking to or want for roles Vince also wants. I never got the feeling he was an A-Lister, but more of a guy just outside that level. Not on a Cruise, Leo, Depp, Pitt, etc level. But more like his creation, Marky Mark. Gets big roles, an is very famous...but not an A-Lister.
