This was my first OSU/UM contest I've been to in any sport. I enjoyed it, but outdoor hockey is a novelty I don't think I need to see twice. A baseball stadium doesn't make from the best place for a hockey game. Ice didn't look to good and and most lower bowl seats didn't provide the best views. Our seats were right next to the UM band so we just went up top and found open seats.

Pretty nice to get to see Script Ohio done on the ice by TBDBITL. Wasn't the same way they do it on the football field, but still pretty nice.

I think when its that cold out, the shavings don't melt like they would indoors....so it collects and provides a rough and slow surface.

Not sure anymore but I can remember hearing in the early 90's, youth hockey's big in Cinci?

What kind of youth hockey turn out do they get in C-bus?
