Wanted to make absolutely sure I was going to graduate before I began my hunt. -
Thread BomberSo... Do you have a dregree?
-
AutomatikDid you go to your career services office? See if you can get a NACElink Network login. A really good worldwide job board, but you need a login through your school/university. Your login is valid for a year after you graduate if I'm not mistaken.
Also LinkedIn is useful. Monster and Careerbuilder are pretty much garbage, but still ok to browse. -

No.
I browsed it a little bit earlier today.Automatik;801190 wrote:See if you can get a NACElink Network login.

Completion of my degree required me to do an internship, so I interned at a police department.
My resume is set, just need to find jobs somewhere.
Only thing I really have under my belt is 3.5 years of experience in IT. Worked at the help desk throughout college. -

I'd go that route. -
dlazzWas waiting for the "OMG YOU GOT A USELESS DEGREE" people to chime in. Here's basically what happened:
My intended major was Information Systems.
2 years in, I grew tired of school and nearly quit.
GPA suffered, so I changed my major to something that would get me out of school with something as opposed to nothing. -
AutomatikJust curious..... why didn't you go with something that would help you more in the long run? You never intended on working in criminology?
-

It was the quickest/easiest route out of school. I hated college. If I could do it again, I wouldn't go. -
wes_mantoothEnder lost all respect for you when you did that internship..smh

If I arrested him, I'd make sure he got his ass beat. -
wes_mantoothPs, not sure if you are interested at all, but I believe quite a few ohio pens have been hiring. Your degree would def help.

It really depends on the job, I'll have a look though. -
